We live in a microwave society. We want what we want right now and right away. Often we have this same expectation with God. We want Him to move on our behalf expeditiously and swiftly. He may very well move instantaneously, but other times we may have to wait. No matter what you are going through and enduring at the moment, don’t lose heart no matter how long it takes. Don’t give up until you get everything you need from God. God is working on your behalf, even when it may not look or feel like it. Only God knows the reason for His timetable. You can have hope and faith that He will keep you while you wait. Trust me, He is worth the wait.

There is no better place to be than in the presence of the Lord. You will desire many things in life, but your greatest aspirations should be to dwell in the presence of God. Set your mind and affection on Him. Long for an encounter like none other. Desire to be engulfed by His awesomeness. Brace yourself for an outpouring of His Spirit. In Him you will find your peace, healing, deliverance, strength and power. All that you need is in Him. No matter how you are feeling today, seek Him. Receive and embrace all God has for you in His presence. ADaubon
