About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

The Path You Choose

People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed. Prov. 10:9 (NLT) When tempted to be dishonest or do something immoral consider the cost of your decision. Often God strategically places you in places to be the light in the midst of darkness. You are meant to transform not conform to your environment. Use discernment and wisdom in everything that you do and say. Be principled, even when the alternative appears more enticing. Avoid agreements and alliances with individuals who are shifty or shady. Do not cosign the actions of those who are not doing what is in the best interest of others or are involved in crooked schemes. Be bold enough to walk in integrity, even if others choose to not walk alongside you. Do not envy those who seem to be advancing in spite of their evil and unethical ways, because their time of exposure is coming. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes, so if you should stray quickly return to the correct path. Every day we have to make choices that will reveal who we really are, choose wisely. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18 (Amp.) There are many things that you cannot control. You cannot change the actions and reactions of others. However, you can be intentional about pursuing peace in your thoughts, words and deeds. Do everything that you can to practice, promote and maintain a positive relationship with others. Abstain from all activities that thrive in chaos and dissention. Have no part in negative conversations or plans that do not create and foster healthy outcomes. Be humble and seek forgiveness from those you have wronged. Then forgive yourself and strive to be and do better. Endeavor to be your best self privately and publicly. The more you are at peace within, the easier it will be for you to cultivate peaceful relationships and interactions with others. End your week with peace. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

His Faithfulness, Our Gratefulness

It is because of the Lord’s loving-kindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His [tender] compassions never fail, they are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. Lam 3:22-23 (Amp.) It is only by your grace that we haven’t been devoured. In our distress you are our strong tower. Your loving-kindness is your love in action. You are the essence of compassion. In awe of your grace and mesmerized by your glory; there is no room for distractions. Engulfed by your mercy that is everlasting. With each day we learn more and more that you are faithful. For this and more we are forever grateful. As we enter into your rest where your blessings flow, we bask in your presence as we go and grow. ADaubon 05/21/23

Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. 1 Cor. 13:4 (Amp.) Be encouraged today to live a life that reflects God’s love. Walk in humility and authentically love others along your journey. Extend grace, mercy and forgiveness at all times. Be mindful of your own emotional baggage that causes you to treat others the way you do. Then make every effort to get the necessary help you need to live at peace with yourself and others. Often how we interact with individuals says a lot about what is going on within us. If you are finding it hard to sincerely love or your actions are consistently hurting people allow God to heal your heart. Through Christ we can all be the best version of ourselves and display the attributes of His unconditional love, today and always. Stay the course. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. Psalm 104:33 (NIV) Every day is a good day to praise the Lord. God is faithful, loving, kind, merciful and full of grace. Every day is a gift from God and another opportunity to bask in His presence. Worship Him for who He is and praise Him for all His mighty works. Give Him all the praise that is due. As you go through this week, be intentional about walking in gratitude and give God the fruit of your lips. Begin each day with a thankful heart. For He is worthy of all the praise, honor and glory. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. Psalm 29:11 (Amp.) If you feel weak and weary today, may the strength of God rise up within you. If you are distressed, may God calm the raging seas that try to surround you. I speak peace and power over your life today. Receive God’s rest as He restores and renew you. Be encouraged today to continue to press on, knowing that you are not alone. God is with you and will help you along the way. Give Him all your concerns and watch Him show up for you in ways you never imagined. Stay the course. ADaubon

Live & Love

My fellow believers do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of partiality [toward people—show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery]. James 2:2 (Amp.) One of the greatest challenges of our nation is to treat others with impartiality. If we are truly sincere about living and loving like our Savior, we must not treat others differently based on superficial or outward appearances. This week let us challenge ourselves to be fully aware of our own implicate biases, then make the necessary steps to retrain our minds and hearts to treat all individuals fairly. In spite of our differences, consider those things that bring us all closer together, rather than tear us apart. Don’t reinforce convictions, conversations and beliefs that contradict the spirit of unity and peace. Allow ourselves to be vessels of Christ’s love to everyone who cross our path. As we continue to embrace the love of God, let us extend the love of God. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
