Remain Steady In Love

See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 (NLT) Let the Lord fight your battles, because He always wins. If we seek to pay others back we are no better than them. Don’t let the actions of evil doers change what you stand for. Hold on to God’s hand and let Him heal and restore. Don’t let emotions tempt you to seek retaliation. Follow the example of Christ who brings reconciliation. Remain steady in your love for God and others, knowing that He takes care of your enemies. Choose Wisely

Whoever is patient has great understanding but one who is quick-tempered displays folly. Prov. 14:29 (NIV) It takes maturity to take a moment and pace yourself before you respond. Often the quick and rapid response is filtered through our emotions in the moment leading to words of regret. It takes patience to pause before you react. Pray for wisdom and understanding before you speak or decide how you will handle a matter. How you respond to a person or situation says more about you than them, choose wisely. Press Forward! Never Alone

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 (NIV) In the darkest times of our life our God is ever present. Whatever our dark season may be, tribulation, grief, persecution, or the deepest valley – we can rest in the assurance that our God is near. He sees our emotions and knows the depth of our pain. He is faithful to respond and support us throughout our journey. He has the power to save us and restore us. His comfort and grace flows towards us continuously. Know that no matter what you are going through today, God is guiding and covering you through it all. He will lift your burdens and heal your heart. He will protect and direct your steps in the path of safety and security. Be encouraged and remember we are never alone. Our God still sits on the throne. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Call For Peace

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matt. 5.9 (NRS) In every situation, we all have a part to play. Each of us will be held accountable for what we do and say. We have a choice to be part of the problem or the solution. Will we stand in the gap for what is right in spite of persecution? Will we add to the fire or try to put it out? Will our life and actions reflect what being a Christian is really about? Decide today what side you will be on. Will you stand on the side of right or wrong? We are called to settle disputes and encourage reconciliation. This is God’s will for His creation. Wherever we are we have a mandate to bring others together on one accord. Even when others have hurt us, we must continue to trust in the Lord. Let us walk in peace, share the love of Christ, and strive to make a positive difference wherever we go. Our God Reigns

 The Lord gives righteousness  and justice to all who are treated unfairly. The Lord gives righteousness  and justice to all who are treated unfairly. Psalm 103:6  (NLT) Don’t become discouraged by the injustices of the day. You must believe our God has the final say. God still sits on the throne and no one can escape His hand. Victory is our portion and defeat is not part of His plan. He is omniscient and knows all that is going on. He sees the injustices and all that is wrong. He’s In Control

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (NIV) As we go through life we will be faced with many challenges. None of these changes who God is. He sits on the throne and is aware of all that we face from day to day. He keeps us from falling and hears us when we pray. As the tides come and the storms rage His faithfulness remains. People come and go, but our God is the same. His consistent agape love never waivers and His promises will be fulfilled at the appointed time. Let His promises towards you ease your heart and mind. Let Forgiveness Flow

At that point Peter got up the nerve to ask, “Master, how many times do I forgive a brother or sister who hurts me? Seven? Jesus replied, “Seven! Hardly. Try seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22 (MSG) As God has forgiven us we are called to forgive. In a state of bitterness and resentment is not the place we want to live. Open your heart and let healing flow. God will mend your heart from every offense so you can continue to grow. Don’t let the wrongs of yesterday impact you today. Surrender it all to God and let Him have His way. Guard your heart and your mind from the weight of carrying an offence. Let go of all that is making you tense. Let God handle all the people and things in your life that try to set you back or hinder you. Press forward in love and stay focused on what God has called you to do. Let’s go and grow together. Be Uniquely You

Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, Gal 6:4 (NIV) In this day and age people are constantly comparing themselves to someone else. Ignoring your own talents and gifts will cause you to not authentically walk in all God has for you. Celebrate but don’t emulate others. Be who God created you to be. Always remember, God has created you uniquely for a divine purpose. Walk in it looking ahead, not at others. Press Froward. ADaubon

Your Present Deserves Your Presence

Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. Matt. 6:34 (Message) When we are constantly worrying about tomorrow we miss out on truly living in the moment today. Simply trust God and let Him have His way. Have faith that He hears you when you pray. His promises come at the appointed time without delay. Don’t let your concerns rob you of the moment God has you in right now. Can you continue to believe God is working it out even if you don’t know how? Set your eyes on Him and put your hands to the plow. The only hold the enemy has on your mind is that which you allow. Today, denounce all that is trying to keep your thoughts in a stronghold and declare you will walk in divine peace. It’s time to shake off the spirit of anxiety and let the shalom of God be released. Hold God’s hand and press forward each day with joy and increased faith. Put on the whole armor of God and confidently run this race. Not at your speed, but at God’s pace. Live in the moment and trust that God has tomorrow in the palm of His hands. Keep believing, even when you don’t understand. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
