When provoked to respond in a way that does not promote peace, choose the higher road. When tempted to react to those who are clearly trying to bait you into an unpleasant exchange don’t fall into the trap. Protect your serenity and pursue peace. Don’t let anyone or anything cause you to be moved in a direction that does not uphold or foster your equanimity. Be leveled-headed and maintain your composure.
