Monday Meditation

Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! Prov. 15:23 (NLT) Everything that is on your mind does not have to roll off your lips. You can have good intentions, but bad timing. Your words should be used to encourage, support and uplift. There is nothing like a good word that comes just when you need it. The key to saying the right thing at the right time is discernment. Be spirit-led, so you are used as an instrument of light in the midst of someone’s darkness. You never know what people are going through and God may want to use you to deliver a timely word that will change the trajectory of someone’s life or shift their situation for the better. Pray, then think carefully about what you’re about to say. If it is not the right timing then wait for another day. If the timing is right then let God have His way. Let’s go and grow together.
