When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2 (NLT) There is peace in knowing that God will bring us through all that we go through. There is absolutely nothing that He cannot do. When it feels like we’re drowning, He safely brings us back to shore. Everything we thought we lost He faithfully restores. When it gets too hot to handle, He surrounds us with His protection. Praise God for the insulation of His love and affection. Hard times won’t overtake us, because in Him we overcome them all. While trials and circumstances try to beat us down, He will help us to stand tall. When difficult times arise have faith that He will not let us sink into despair. With confidence we can navigate the vicissitudes of life knowing that we are in His loving care. He will not allow us to be overtaken or drown into the depths of weariness.
