Therefore, if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. 2 Cor 5:17 (Amp.) We are no longer what we were; for we are new creatures in Him. No longer bound by unforgiveness and sin. His love is where our story begins and ends. Renewed, reborn, and restored for great works that our past never had the power to hinder. God’s plans always prevail and the enemy’s schemes have been returned to sender. Tempted by our flesh, but have the power to not give in. Walking in victory, because of the Holy Spirit that dwells within. We are being molded by the potter and we are the clay. We must remain firmly rooted in Him, so we don’t sway or stray.. He is by our side, no matter what we go through. We’ve been made new, because God has an assignment for us to do. Our life is meant to bring Him glory and our witness increases the fold.
