Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. Prov. 16:32 (NIV) God, help us to daily walk in peace. As we are being molded in your image everything that doesn’t reflect you must be released. Build us in those places and spaces where we harbor anger, bitterness, or hurts from the past. Hear our cry God as we pray and fast. Teach us how to be patient with others and ourselves when challenged to be quick in our responses and reactions. Let all that we do bring people together rather than create division and factions. Show us how to wait on you even when we don’t understand. Guide us through this life with your mighty right hand. We surrender every area of our life to you where we have struggled with self-control. We turn away from everything and all alliances that don’t please you, as you deliver us from every stronghold. Search us Lord, and build us up in your image and likeness. We love you with all our hearts and desire true holiness. We declare today our love and commitment to you. Touch us Lord, in the way that only you can do. We receive your renewal and revival deep within. Thank you, God, for doing it again. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
