The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3 (Amp.) God is the good shepherd who watches over our life. He orders our steps and loving guides us on the right path. He provides all of our needs, even the ones we are unaware of. When we are weary, He refreshes us. When we feel depleted, He breathes life back into us and restores every part of our being. He renews our hopes, dreams, bodies, hearts and minds. He lifts the heavy burdens and comforts our hearts. He gives hope to the hopeless, strength to the weary, rest for the tired, peace to the troubled and increased faith when we are tempted to give up. The shepherd of our soul knows just what we need and is faithful to provide. Rest in Him and be refreshed. ADaubon
