Immovable

I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will ^[a]rest in hope. Psalm 16:8-9 (NKJV) Put God first and let Him take care of the rest. When God is our focus we can trust Him with our future, because He knows best. Be securely anchored in the Lord, so you are not swayed by the cares of life. You’re coming out of this – no matter the strife. Remain steady and be faith ready. Though the tides may rise and the storms rage, God is not fazed – nor are His plans delayed. We are safe in the palm of His mighty right hand, for He won’t let us fall. Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat. Mark 6:31 (NLT) There is wisdom in finding a healthy balance in life. Knowing when to say no or taking a break are necessary to truly take time to rest your mind, body and soul. When we get distracted please get us back on track. When we are stuck or hindered by lack of motivation loving redirect us to your plan and purpose for our life. Help us to do all that we do as if it were unto you. Where we lack commitment renew our passion. Where we lack energy and enthusiasm renew our desire. Where we have given up restore our hope. Where we lack focus deliver us from all that is designed to be a distraction to hold us back. Let us be fully attentive to the work you have laid before us and help us to do it with integrity and joy. Never Alone

But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” Psalm 31:14 (NIV) When faced with uncertainty turn to our consistent God. All that He has done before He is faithful to do again and again. When you’re tempted to doubt, remember and recall all that God has proven He can do throughout time and in your life. As situations change and the vicissitudes of life continue to come hold on to God’s unchanging hand. When anxiety tries to consume you, surrender all your thoughts and concerns to the Lord. Trust Him with all your heart and believe without wavering that He who called you unto Himself is faithful to keep you all the days of your life. There is absolutely nothing that you are going through that is beyond His reach. Because He still sits on the throne you are never alone. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Don’t Sway, Delay or Run Away

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 1 Timothy 1:12 (NIV) Each of us are called for a purpose and were created for a reason. God gives us the strength to accomplish all that He desires through us. When faced with doubt remember whom He calls He fully prepares. When under attack don’t doubt that God will continue to fulfill for you and through you all that He prepared before the foundation of the earth, so hold on. Stay committed to the call, no matter what comes your way. You are appointed and anointed for such a time as this. Don’t sway, delay or run away. Press forward with the power of God. He goes before you. His love surrounds you and He has your back. You’re covered. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us. And make the work of our hands stand strong. Yes, make the work of our hands stand strong. Psalm 90:17 (NIV) It is easy to get preoccupied with working that we lose sight of making sure that all that we endeavor remains in the will of God. When He directs our path, He opens doors for us that no man can close and closes doors in order to point us in the right direction. In all that we do, let Christ be our compass to take us down the path of His will and purpose. All that we do is for His Glory and to accomplish His will. The favor of the Lord is upon us to complete and accomplish our God given assignment. Surrender the work of your hands to Him and be firmly established to stand and withstand today and forever more. But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, and don’t take yourself too seriously—take God seriously. Genuinely seek the good and well-being of others as you travel along your journey. No matter how far you get remain grounded in humility. Whatever God gives you the ability to do, be grateful.
