About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. Prov. 29:25 (NIV) Many of our worries and concerns are rooted in us looking for our resources from people and places other than God. He alone is the source of our deliverance, strength, power and provision. In Him we should place our hope for all our help, not man. When you fear individuals and their influence you give them more power than they deserve and set yourself up to be caught in a snare. Don’t be intimidated by the tactics or presence of others. Remember who you are and whose you are. Place all your trust in the Master’s hand. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

When pride comes [boiling up with an arrogant attitude of self-importance], then come dishonor and shame, but with the humble [the teachable who have been chiseled by trial and who have learned to walk humbly with God] there is wisdom and soundness of mind. Prov. 11:2 (Amp.) While basking in your achievements, don’t forget to remain grounded. Accomplishments, positions, and possessions do not define you. It is only by the grace of God that you are where you are. Never consider yourself to be exalted above anyone else, because it is all to the glory of God. Be an example to everyone that you meet. There is no substitute for good character and a humble heart. Let your presence be an encouragement to others.

Know that you are forever growing. There is always more for you to learn. However, you’re not reachable if you’re unteachable. Be able to admit when you need help or when you are wrong. Be willing to receive constructive feedback, guidance, wisdom and direction from the Lord and those whom He uses to pour into you. Most importantly, modestly move through life completely surrendered to the constant molding and shaping of God. He will open doors for you. So, leave space for others in the room and pave the way for those who are behind you. Your journey is not all about you, but also how you can build and bless others. Stay humble, so you don’t stumble. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:1-3 (NIV) Each day that we have breath in our bodies is a good day to praise the Lord. Often our present situation can distract us from giving God the admiration and praise that He deserves. Our attitude of gratitude cannot be predicated on the ups and downs of life. Praise Him when you have troubles and during your triumphs. Praise Him when you need your burdens lifted and when you feel abundantly blessed. No matter the circumstance or condition, God is still worthy to be praised. In fact, praise and worship will uplift you from your pain and deliver you from all your worries. So, when you are at your lowest point or at your highest heights give God praise. There is a shifting that takes place within you in the midst of your worship. Challenge yourself to periodically throughout your day to stop, drop and praise the Lord. Constantly, maintain a posture of praise. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Surrounded By God

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. Psalm 125:1-2 (NV) Though your problems seem to mount, and it appears as if there is no relief in sight. There is a God who loves you and protects you with all His might. God is omnipresent, and His grace, love and mercy keeps us during all seasons of our life. Keep the faith and know that we are covered no matter the pain or strife. Though the tough times may arise you will be able to stand. With every attack that comes against you remember you are safe in the Master’s hand. For the Lord surrounds you, now and forevermore. So, when trouble knocks, let Him answer the door. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Prayer without Parameters

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people. 1 Timothy 2:1 (NIV) Now more than ever, there is a great need for prayer. Not just for those whom you like or dislike, but for those who need it most. To be honest, we all need prayer right now. The current climate commands continuous prayers. There is so much going on that is beyond our comprehension. But what we can’t comprehend we must try to have compassion for. Without compassion it is hard to pray with sincerity. Pray for your neighbor and the nation. Pray for your friends and your foes. Pray for the sinners and the saints. Pray for the weak and the strong. Pray for those who are right and those who are wrong. Pray for those you love and those who make it hard to love them. Prayers of faith moves hearts and mountains. Expand the territory and borders of your prayers. Love without limits and pray without parameters. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

And now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness. Acts 4:29 (NRSV) Often when we are moving in what God has called us to, we come under attack in more ways than one. But this is no time to shrink back, but rather stand firm in who God called you to be and in what He has commissioned for you to do. Unapologetically, walk in your divine appointment. Don’t expect everyone to like you or accept you. In fact, be prepared for opposition. Don’t become distracted or deterred by the naysayers. Have faith in the One who set you apart for a purpose. Because He fights your battles you can move forward boldly into your destiny. Be brave and courageous. Lives are waiting for the gift inside of you. Now hold your head high, push your haters aside and go forth and do what you were created to do. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. Psalm 23:1 (NIV) Hang in there, God will surely bless you. He is all knowing and is aware of what you’re going through. When challenging times come and you wonder how you’re going to make it, remember the Lord is near. God is a faithful provider whom we can cast all our cares. He will be there for you in your times of distress. Place your hope in Him and let God do the rest. Don’t allow anxiety to plague your heart and mind. Rely on the greatest help that you’ll ever find. God is faithful to do all that He’s done before and more. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will take care of you, as He has done before. Declare over your life, with God there is no lack in your life or your future generations. Pray, seek God and wait for the manifestation. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Abundant Blessings

And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. 2 Cor. 9:8 (NRSVUE) Lord cause our cup to fill until it overflows. Not just for our selfish gain, but to help others as we go. As we embrace the abundance of your blessings we show appreciation with our actions, thoughts and deeds. Direct our path and give us wisdom, so we will plant positive seeds. We declare today that our storehouse will always be full; giving us the ability to share with others. Then give us the desire to sincerely share with one another. Wherever there is lack we believe you will make a way. So, give us a willing heart to give freely throughout each day. Use us to pour into the lives of our friends and even our foes. Have your way in us as your vessels to let your goodness and mercy flow. Help us to maintain purposeful living. Lord, show us how to honor and please you with our giving. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Be Humble – Stay Humble

Before disaster the heart of a man is haughty and filled with self-importance, but humility comes before honor. Prov. 18:12 (Amp.) There is no way to hide pride, it’s seen from a mile away. A haughty attitude is never the way. It does not pay to be full of yourself. There is no gain in looking down on anyone else. Arrogance is the beginning of one’s demise. God is watching and the humble He will rise. True honor comes not from self-promotion and manipulation. Seek all that is pleasing in His sight and allow Him to bring elevation. God knows what’s in your heart and the true intentions behind all that you do. Humble yourself before God and allow Him to have His way in you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
