Walking In Victory

Arrogant foes are attacking me; ruthless people are trying to kill me—people without regard for God. Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. Psalm 54:3-4 (NIV) Don’t consider it strange when you are under attack. Due to your faith and the favor on your life often you are a target. Though they may try, they cannot deter what God intends to accomplish in you. Don’t be discouraged and do not fear. He who called you will cover you. The one who gave you your purpose will protect you. The one who loves you beyond measure will not leave you defenseless. It does not matter the force behind those who rise up against you, God will put a shield around you. Though the fiery darts may come they will fall flat before you. Though their intentions may be meant for harm the Lord will help you. What was meant for your demise will be an opportunity for God to display His dunamis power. There is no need to concern yourself with the tactics of your enemies. The Lord will sustain you and bring you to victory. You will rise above every attack that comes against you. Total Restoration

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10 (ESV) When going through hardship and pain know that it will not last always. Continue to press forward in faith believing you will soon see better days. The one who called you is faithful to restore. That which you are worrying about will not trouble you anymore. Believe that God has so much more in-store. Get in position to receive more. Blessings are flowing your way that you won’t have room to receive. Denounce fear or doubt and simply believe. Give Him your worries and your anxiety will diminish. Give Him your weariness and your strength He will replenish. All that you’ve been through is being used to make you stronger. Give no thought to that painful place any longer. God is taking you to a better place and destination. Brace yourself for elevation. Get ready for the celebration. Empowered By Unfailing Love

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Isaiah 40:29 (NLT) Daily we need God’s strength, but there are times when the urgency is greater. Those times when you need help right now, rather than later. Those seasons when your heart is heavy, and you feel weighed down. Those moments when no other help can be found. In our times of tribulation and testing lean on the one whom you can depend. Every broken place in your life He can mend. He will hold you up on every leaning side. HIs compassion He will never hide. Give Him your weakness, pain, hurt, anxiety and distress. Give Him your heavy burdens and receive His supernatural rest. He will infuse you with divine power to uplift you from your places of despair. You’re not alone, because He is always near. Look to the hills, for your help comes from above. You will be empowered by His love. So, allow God to lift the heaviness of your heart and surround you with His never-ending love that never fails. His love penetrates us into the deepest places of our soul, and His power prevails. God has you in the palm of His hand, so be encouraged in times of stormy weather. Trust God, for He is always near

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10 (NIV) There is a safe place where we can find rest. Because of His love and mercy, we can survive every test. There will be times when life tries to throw you to and fro. Standing firm in your faith is the only way to go. Our God is impenetrable. He is more than able. He has you and everything that concerns you in the palm of His hand. There is absolutely nothing that can hinder the Master’s plan. So, don’t get weary and resist the spirit of fear. Trust God, for He is always near. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Let your love speak for you

Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:35 (NLT) The only image we should strive to uphold is to reflect the King. Being an example of His love is greater than anything. Allow Him to spread kindness and mercy through your actions. Let your love for God be the motivation for your passion. If you’re going to follow Christ let His love be your guide. Go ye therefore and spread His love world-wide. Let your love speak for you. Go forth and do what you were called to do.  “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.” Luke 6:35 (NLT) Loving your enemies can be challenging, but it’s something we must do. Allow God to love them through you. It’s not always easy to overlook the offense or hurt that they may have caused you. Unfortunately, there are some things we cannot undo. God will heal the pain in your heart. As He does, be willing to give others a fresh start. If they are in need don’t hesitate to lend a helping hand. Being used by God is the ultimate plan. So, give freely even to those who have disappointed you in the past. Remember, only what you do for Christ will last. Don’t look for anything in return, for your blessings come from above. As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5 (NIV) As Jesus was rejected by man, we too will experience rejection here on earth. Often it is not you that they are rejecting, but the God in you. Find comfort in knowing that the Lord is building you up daily. You are part of the royal priesthood. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10 (NIV) When you go through the vicissitudes of life trusting God you experience the sustaining power that He extends infinitely. Bask in the assurance and supernatural rest that comes from knowing God intimately. He’s been there through the great joys and sadness, heartaches and triumphs or toils and snares. He is ever-present because He cares. He is the one constant in our life, even with its twists and turns. For Him alone our hearts should yearn. His saving grace is real and nothing or no one can compare. When everyone flees or lets us down, He’ll always be there. He is our strong tower; in Him we can depend. Pursue Him with your whole heart, give Him your worries and experience His shalom from deep within. He will never forsake you, is a promise that He will fulfill. Strength For My Soul

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Cor, 12:9 (NIV) Because He is sovereign we can rest in Him, every minute and every hour. Rely upon Him in your weakest times and He will give you power. You are never too low or beyond His reach that He is unable to deliver. For His grace, mercy and power flows like a river.
