Restored to Soar

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV) Trusting in God is the antidote to a heavy heart and weary soul. When the stresses and concerns of life try to wear you down, remember He is still in control. Placing your hope in Him will help you rise above all your circumstances and challenging situations. He will deliver you from every trial and tribulation. Lay your burdens before Him and receive joy for your sorrow. Trust in the Lord and He will renew your strength and restore your hope in tomorrow. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest. Psalm 126:5 (NIV) Out of the tears that flow the seeds you’ve planted grow. It will surely bloom until your cup has no room. Don’t despise the days when tears fell from your eyes. Rejoice in the remembrance that God is always nearby. All that you’ve been through will be used for a greater glory. Your pain was never intended to be the end of the story. Tell your testimony for the world to see how He brought you from weeping to worship and gave you victory. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Set Apart

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jer. 1:5 (NIV) No matter what tries to hold you back or keep you in chains, never forget the call on your life remains. Don’t be discouraged by those who try to hold you back. Don’t allow anything to get you off track. Know that God created you with a plan. Your blueprint was crafted by His hand. While you were yet in your mother’s womb, He set you apart for a purpose and a destiny. No matter what tries to keep you bound, remember you’re free. Don’t worry about your tomorrow, because God has already spoken the path ahead of you. Place your hope in Him and trust Him as you go through. He is faithful to do just what He said. Yield to Him and be spirit led. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14 (NIV) There is a season in all of our lives that we have to wait on God for the manifestation of what He has said. In this season we must be Spirit-led. It is in these moments that we need patience and perseverance to press forward with praise; for in Him we trust. It is in this place that the right attitude and mindset is a must. I encourage you to never forget that God is faithful, and He knows all that you are going through. He will take care of you. In His sovereignty He is moving on your behalf and has plans for your life that will exceed your expectations. You can wait on Him with great anticipation. Maintain your hope and trust in God with all your heart. Stay in position to receive your blessing and watch God do His part. Let us never forget, God has never failed us in the past. To His promises you can hold fast. Stay in His will. Look to the hills from whence cometh your help and be still. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. Romans 15:4 (NIV) Often we are waiting for a word to be strengthened. Pray and seek God’s face. If you are in a season where you feel like you’re not hearing from Him find solace in the Scriptures. Within the pages you will find help, healing and hope. May God encourage your heart and give you peace. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Be Refreshed

I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. Jer. 31:25 (NIV) When you’re feeling drained and can’t seem to find the strength to push forward, seek God with all your heart. When we are weak, He gives us strength. When we are at our lowest, He lifts us up. When we feel hopeless, He gives us hope and fortifies our faith. When we’re hurting, He comforts us and restores our joy. He is faithful to meet us right where we are. He will fill our empty tank and sustain us in every season of life. He is Jehovah Jireh, our provider. May you be fully satisfied in every area. Remember, wherever you are God dwells within you and all around you. He will not leave you or forsake you. He knows what you need before you knew you had a need. He knows your desires and your heart. Hang in there, press into the presence of God, receive His rest and be refreshed. Let’s go and go together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Prayer For Friends & Close Relationships

After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job 4:10 (NIV) God we lift up all our relationships to you today. Forgive us for the times we’ve missed the mark in our interactions and give us a heart to forgive those who have done the same to us. Help us to forgive others when they drop the ball. We acknowledge that we are human and don’t always get it right. Even when our intentions are good, we can fail in our efforts to meet those we love at their place of need. We repent for every time when we’ve misread what was happening in the moment and spoke anything other than what was inspired by you. Forgive us for when we’ve tried to comfort, but in error added more sorrow. Help us to forgive ourselves and others. We ask that you love our friends and family through us and love us through them. Let all that we do and say be pleasing in your sight and in alignment with your will. We seek your face for reconciliation of all relationships that were severed prematurely. We pray for a release of all that has been held up due to our disobedience and false narrative of the events in our life and the lives of others. We pray that you protect and cover all of our relationships. May you get the glory in our connections. As Job’s life was restored after he prayed for His friends, we pray for restoration in every area of our life. We surrender to you and yield our heart to be a vessel for you. Pour into us and fill us with your love as you release your bountiful blessings from above. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Love Like None Other

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. Jer. 31.3 (NIV) Everlasting love is just what we all need right now. The beauty is it is available to all of us. It is refreshing to know that we are loved beyond measure. That should bring comfort to those who have experienced inconsistent love from individuals throughout the course of life. Often, we make the mistake of transferring our disappointment of earthly relationships into our connection with our heavenly Father. I encourage you today to know that you can be completely 100% vulnerable in the arms of God. He loves you more than you can ever imagine and there is nothing you can do about it. Let His love draw you closer into an intimate relationship with Him. Open your arms wide and bask in the never-ending, unfailing, everlasting, unconditional love of God. Rest in it and let it revive you. Dance in it and let it elevate you. Dwell in it an let it empower you. Marinate in it and let it bring you unspeakable joy. Now say it with me – I am loved with an everlasting love! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Meditation Monday

You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.  Col 2:13-14 (NLT) As we continue to celebrate and appreciate the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, let us gratefully walk in the benefits of His grace. In Christ we are made new. While it may take us time to fully embrace it, we are being transformed daily in the image of Christ. Surrender to the process and learn to forgive yourself as you evolve. You are no longer bound by guilt or shame. Keep pressing forward in Christ and know that as He restores and renews you, He continues to extend His grace towards you. The more you draw close to the light, He will dispel every dark place in your life. Keep yielding your heart to Him and every stubborn part of you will follow. Remember, Christ loved you to His death, resurrection and beyond. There is no greater love, nor no greater sacrifice. Open your eyes and your arms to receive and bask in His unfailing love. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
