About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

Monday Meditation

For unto us a child was born to heal all hearts that was once tattered and worn. It’s not about the gifts under the tree, but rather the ultimate sacrifice of love that set us free. As long as He lives and reigns our lives will never be the same. Reflections on the greatest gift are reminders of the One who uplifts. There is so much to celebrate and a reason for all to participate. For unto to us a child was born to heal all hearts that was once tattered and worn. ADaubon

Seek peace and well-being for the city where I have sent you into exile and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its peace (well-being) you will have peace.’ Jer. 29:7 (Amp.) Lord, we seek peace in every situation and place. Wherever we are may your presence anoint the space. Let us seek the goodwill of all no matter where we are. Order our steps and actions, please don’t let us stray too far. Always bring us back to the place of serenity. Fill our hearts with your love, so we can dwell with others in unity. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

He gives strength to the weary, and to him who has no might He increases power. Isaiah 40:29 (Amp.) There will be times in life when you feel like you need a break from the constant attacks and seasons of difficulty. There is no way to conquer your enemies or have the fortitude to persevere through your storms without tapping into the power of God. When you rise with each day, ask God to strengthen you to face whatever comes your way. He is faithful to encourage your heart and give you courage in spite of your adversity. Rest in Him as He gives you resilience. Trust in Him and watch Him turn your situation around. Abide in Him and stay connected to your power source. In this world we will have challenges, but God gives us all that we need to endure. He is your support and your stability. Be encouraged today and lift your weary head with confidence in the One who will never leave you or forsake you. Though the tides may come, He can calm the seas or cause you to ride the tide with ease. Either way, God will not let you drown in your situation. Remember with God on your side there is nothing you are going through that you cannot rise above. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. 1 Peter 3:10 (NLT). Your words have power. When speaking of or to others remember to be mindful of the words that you choose. It is easy to say the first thing that comes to your mind with no regard to how it can make others feel or look, but self-control of one’s tongue takes great discipline and maturity. Even if a statement is true, think about what your purpose is for saying it? Never stretch the truth and don’t make up scenarios based on the lenses you are looking out of or the limited information you have. Consider the manner in which you are communicating, is it to build up or tear down? Are you trying to make someone else feel or look bad, while trying to make yourself feel or look better? Are you deflecting your pain onto others? Try to hold your tongue, unless to share love or to uplift and encourage. Take inventory of your conversations and ask yourself, who am I hurting or helping? Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. Psalm 54:4 (NIV) As we begin this week, meditate on the goodness of God in your life. Celebrate Him for the many times He has helped you and believe that He is able to continue to be there for you. There is no problem too big or situation beyond His reach. Rest in the assurance that whatever you face, no matter how bleak it may appear to you, God is your primary resource and source of all that you may need or desire. Take a moment today, look over your life and recall the goodness of God. With appreciation for where He’s brought you from, continue to press forward knowing that God is in you and with you. There is absolutely nothing too hard for Him. Whatever you need today, rest your cares in Him and receive your help. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You have healed me. Psalm 30:3 (Amp.) There is comfort in knowing when we cry out to God, He hears us. He knows all that we are going through already, but when we surrender it to Him it’s an acknowledgment that He’s able to change our situation. Crying out to God is a sign of faith and an affirming act that we believe He is able to do anything but fail. Whatever you need today, I encourage you to cry out to God for help. He will meet you right where you are and answer your prayers. He will be your healer, deliverer, sustainer, burden bearer, comforter and more. Seek HIs face and don’t doubt HIs capability to move on your behalf. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Be Uplifted!

Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become restless and disturbed within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. Psalm 42:5 (Amp.) When you are feeling inner turmoil and uneasy within, don’t sink into a state of despondency. Exercising your faith is the antidote to despair. Press your way into the presence of God by prayer, worship and meditating on His word. Soak in Him and absorb His comfort, love and compassion. In the presence of God is where we find our strength to continue on our journey with peace and power. Fix your eyes on Him and HIs promises. Place all your trust and hope in Him and wait with assured confidence that He will answer your prayers. Don’t hold back your praise until you’re on the other side of your situation, worship Him while you wait. Praise Him because you are not forgotten, and you are never alone. Be uplifted and be encouraged. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Complete & Established

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be]. 1 Peter 5:10 (Amp.) Often trials and tribulations can make you feel depleted. Maintain your hope in God. There is an end date on your difficult times and all that was held back will be released. Your present circumstances are not an immovable roadblock, but rather a mountain that will be moved. You will receive all that God has ordained for you. No matter how far you may feel knocked down, you will be restored and firmly established. What God has for you is for you and your blessings are too big for the box that tries to restrain you. In Him you are complete and whole. You are and will be all that God has called you to be. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Waiting Mode

We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) Rom. 8:24-25 (NLT) Many of us are most comfortable when moving in areas of great certainty. However, there will be times in our life when we are in waiting mode. In these moments it is imperative to maintain our hope with confidence. Don’t become restless even when tempted to worry or become anxious. Trust God and believe that His plans for you will unfold in His time. While you are waiting see what He is trying to show you right where you are on the way to where He is taking you. Embrace how He is molding and developing you in preparation for all that He has for you. Just because you don’t see movement, it does not mean God is not working. Trust the process and keep the faith. Whatever you do, don’t give up or become discouraged. Your time is coming. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
