God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 1 Peter 4:10 (NLT) God has given each of us various gifts. These blessings are not just for our personal gain. We are to use our gifts to serve one another. Consider everyone that comes across your path as an opportunity to make an impact in their life for the better. Always remember, you were created for a reason and a purpose. He who covers and forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats or gossips about a matter separates intimate friends. Proverbs 17:9 (Amp.) In relationships and interactions with others, you may be offended at one time or another intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes these incidents can build up or break down a friendship. Whether you choose to maintain the friendship or not it is beneficial and fruitful to forgive the offense. We should have the same passion for extending mercy to others as we have for God to grant mercy towards us. Gossiping or continuing to tell the story of the offense to others is an indication that you may need to continue to heal. Unforgiveness impedes the healing process. If you are harboring any negative thoughts or emotions due to an offense by anyone, make the choice to seek love inwardly and outwardly. Release all that keeps you bound by the hurts of the past and set yourself and others free. Then embrace the peace of God. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Your Primary Source not secondary resource

Putting confidence in an unreliable person in times of trouble is like chewing with a broken tooth or walking on a lame foot. Prov. 25:19 (NIV) Select those whom you confide in carefully. Access to your most vulnerable moments should not be based on someone’s proximity, relationship or availability, but rather their potential to carefully handle what you are sharing with them. Perhaps the one you have sought out does not have the capability to give you what you need based on their own struggles and shortcomings. Sometimes we are disappointed because we are seeking something from someone God never intended us to get from them. May God bless you with a supportive village of individuals that will genuinely and responsibly respond to you when you are in need. Ultimately, place your trust in God and have faith that He will divinely assign individuals in your life to be encouraging when you need them most. Ordered & Ordained

Man’s steps are ordered and ordained by the Lord. How then can a man [fully] understand his way? Psalm 20:24 (Amp.) When seeking direction, it is best to consult the one who prepares and directs your path. We go through so much self-exploration to figure out life decisions. Often, it can become disheartening and discouraging when you can’t seem to find your way. I encourage you today to seek God for discernment and clarity. Then be willing to be open to his lead wherever it may take you. Even if it is different than what you imagined. Often God is speaking, but because it doesn’t line up with what we want to hear we do not receive it. What God wants for you is no mystery. It is already written in His story (history). An Undivided Heart

Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. Psalm 86:11 (NIV) Often we have a hard time completely trusting and depending on God, because our heart is divided into too many places, people and things for the sources of our strength and direction. Seek understanding from the Lord and depend on Him alone. Believe that He is faithful to guide you through life and supply all of your needs. Don’t waiver in your faith and maintain your expectations and hope in Him. Consider all that has been vying for your devotion and make the choice to trust God with all your heart. Trust His Timing

The Lord is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him, to those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word]. It is good that one waits quietly. For the salvation of the Lord. Lam. 3:25-26 (Amp.) For all those who are waiting for God for anything don’t lose hope. Believe with confidence that God will move on your behalf no matter how long it takes. Stay in place and don’t move in haste. He’s preparing you for where He is taking you. At the appointed time you will receive all that He has in store for you. Delayed doesn’t mean denied. Trust Him and His timing. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Prov. 16:7 (Amp.) It is never easy to have individuals who oppose you and are hostile towards you. The hurt can seem difficult to endure. If we are not careful, we can give our enemies more space in our mind and emotions than they deserve. Submit your foes to God. Do not respond in your flesh or stoop to their level. Don’t waste energy devising schemes to get back at them. Do what is right even when you are being targeted. Let your words and actions be consistent with the Lord and He will grant you favor. He will cause your enemies to retreat. Stay the course and don’t take the bait.
