About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

Monday Meditation

His Faithfulness, Our Gratefulness

It is because of the Lord’s loving-kindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His [tender] compassions never fail, they are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. Lam 3:22-23 (Amp.) It is only by your grace that we haven’t been devoured. In our distress you are our strong tower. Your loving-kindness is your love in action. You are the essence of compassion. In awe of your grace and mesmerized by your glory; there is no room for distractions. Engulfed by your mercy that is everlasting. With each day we learn more and more that you are faithful. For this and more we are forever grateful. As we enter into your rest where your blessings flow, we bask in your presence as we go and grow. ADaubon 05/21/23

Fresh Wind Wednesday

Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. 1 Cor. 13:4 (Amp.) Be encouraged today to live a life that reflects God’s love. Walk in humility and authentically love others along your journey. Extend grace, mercy and forgiveness at all times. Be mindful of your own emotional baggage that causes you to treat others the way you do. Then make every effort to get the necessary help you need to live at peace with yourself and others. Often how we interact with individuals says a lot about what is going on within us. If you are finding it hard to sincerely love or your actions are consistently hurting people allow God to heal your heart. Through Christ we can all be the best version of ourselves and display the attributes of His unconditional love, today and always. Stay the course. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. Psalm 104:33 (NIV) Every day is a good day to praise the Lord. God is faithful, loving, kind, merciful and full of grace. Every day is a gift from God and another opportunity to bask in His presence. Worship Him for who He is and praise Him for all His mighty works. Give Him all the praise that is due. As you go through this week, be intentional about walking in gratitude and give God the fruit of your lips. Begin each day with a thankful heart. For He is worthy of all the praise, honor and glory. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. Psalm 29:11 (Amp.) If you feel weak and weary today, may the strength of God rise up within you. If you are distressed, may God calm the raging seas that try to surround you. I speak peace and power over your life today. Receive God’s rest as He restores and renew you. Be encouraged today to continue to press on, knowing that you are not alone. God is with you and will help you along the way. Give Him all your concerns and watch Him show up for you in ways you never imagined. Stay the course. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Live & Love

My fellow believers do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of partiality [toward people—show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery]. James 2:2 (Amp.) One of the greatest challenges of our nation is to treat others with impartiality. If we are truly sincere about living and loving like our Savior, we must not treat others differently based on superficial or outward appearances. This week let us challenge ourselves to be fully aware of our own implicate biases, then make the necessary steps to retrain our minds and hearts to treat all individuals fairly. In spite of our differences, consider those things that bring us all closer together, rather than tear us apart. Don’t reinforce convictions, conversations and beliefs that contradict the spirit of unity and peace. Allow ourselves to be vessels of Christ’s love to everyone who cross our path. As we continue to embrace the love of God, let us extend the love of God. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 (NRSV) In life you will have those who come against you. Their reasons are irrelevant. The only thing that matters is that you do not let them change your character. Don’t waste time figuring out a way to get back at them. Don’t fixate on their schemes. Center your heart and focus on the one who is able to save you from the snares of your foes. Pray for your enemies and leave them in the hands of God. He is Migdal Oz-The Lord God Our Strong Tower. He will keep us safe from all our enemies. Don’t fret and don’t get discouraged. Don’t allow their antics to distract you. Keep loving and living and let God take care of your adversaries. Stay the course! ADaubon

Monday Meditation

But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. Psalm 54:4 (NRSV) No matter what you are going through firmly believe, without wavering, that God will sustain you. When you are being persecuted and attacked, know that God will vindicate you. When you are overwhelmed by emotions and despair is trying to overtake you, turn to the Lord and receive His rest from all the pain that seeks to consume your heart. With God’s help you can persevere and survive any situation that comes your way. He will keep you and give you strength to continue to press on. Be encouraged this week to walk in the promise of God, that He will uphold your life and will take care of everything that concerns you. You are not alone; God is with you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

He who is slow to anger has great understanding [and profits from his self-control], But he who is quick-tempered exposes and exalts his foolishness [for all to see]. Prov 14:29 (Amp.) Managing your emotions in difficult situations is an indication of self-control. Being self-aware and identifying your triggers is equally important. Then make a conscious effort to think before reacting, bridle your tongue, consider the best and most appropriate approach to a situation and pursue peace at all cost. Either you control your anger, or your anger will control you. Pray for inner healing and deliverance from all the pain that fuels your anger, then embrace healing and a healthier pattern of responses to life events. Let’s go and grow together. ADabuon
