About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

Fresh Wind Wednesday

A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted. Prov 12:16 (NLT) When you are on the receiving end of the antics of those who are trying to offend you with their words or actions, don’t take the bait. It is easy to respond in the moment with the same energy you are getting, but it takes self-control and self-awareness to refrain from allowing yourself to be drawn into conflict. Know who you are in God, so the opinions and words of others do not trigger you or make you feel the need to defend yourself. Don’t personalize the attacks of the offender. Usually, their behavior is more about them than you. Don’t let them project their negativity onto you. When you are facing attacks of any kind, think twice before giving a response. SPPStop, pray and put on the full armor of God. Most importantly, if your communication cannot be done in a peaceful manner its best to table it until both parties are ready and willing to do so with love, integrity and maturity. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Watered Roots

“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NLT) Lord we rely on you alone. We thank you for all the great mercies you’ve shown. Our hope cannot be shaken or tossed to and fro. Water our roots so our faith can continue to grow. We won’t give into worry or despair. In your hands we cast every care. In you we shall abide. In you our faith resides. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Do Not Hold Back

Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. Isaiah 54:2-3 (NIV) In 2024, let us commit to walking in and receiving all that God has for us. God has been preparing us to enter into this new season. Now it is time to move beyond our comfortable spaces and expand our territory. Allow God to lead you into greater without giving into the temptation to shrink back. Don’t be afraid of the possibilities. God’s increase is not just in the natural, but in the spiritual as well. Expand your faith and embrace all that God has in store. Let’s go and grow together. Monday Meditation for the New Year

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19 (NIV) As we embrace the New Year, trust God without fear. Behold He is doing something new. Only God knows all that He has prepared for you. There is no time for looking back, because your future awaits. God is moving and there is so much to anticipate. God is making a way out of no way. Follow Him closely without delay. Your dry places will begin to overflow beyond your imagination. You’ve prayed for it, now get ready to receive the manifestation. Celebrate, because God has so much in store. Hallelujah, we’ve made it to 2024! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Yahweh Ezer – The Lord God our Help

Give us help against the enemy, For the help of man is worthless (ineffectual, without purpose). Through God we will have victory, For He will trample down our enemies. Psalm 60:11-12 (Amp.) God, we run to you for safety and security. For in your presence the enemy must flee. This battle that we fight, we do not fight alone. We recall the past victories and mercies you have shown. Though our enemies may rise from the north, east, south and west, we place all our trust in you so we can truly rest. No need to fret, toil or tremble in fear, for you will cover us from the front, sides and rear. Surround us with your protection and shower us with your affection. Minster to our hearts and encourage our souls. For worshipping you is our primary goal. So, we press our way into the comfort of your loving arms. Thank you for your covering and keeping us from all harm. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

For unto us a child was born to heal all hearts that was once tattered and worn. It’s not about the gifts under the tree, but rather the ultimate sacrifice of love that set us free. As long as He lives and reigns our lives will never be the same. Reflections on the greatest gift are reminders of the One who uplifts. There is so much to celebrate and a reason for all to participate. For unto to us a child was born to heal all hearts that was once tattered and worn. ADaubon

Seek peace and well-being for the city where I have sent you into exile and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its peace (well-being) you will have peace.’ Jer. 29:7 (Amp.) Lord, we seek peace in every situation and place. Wherever we are may your presence anoint the space. Let us seek the goodwill of all no matter where we are. Order our steps and actions, please don’t let us stray too far. Always bring us back to the place of serenity. Fill our hearts with your love, so we can dwell with others in unity. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

He gives strength to the weary, and to him who has no might He increases power. Isaiah 40:29 (Amp.) There will be times in life when you feel like you need a break from the constant attacks and seasons of difficulty. There is no way to conquer your enemies or have the fortitude to persevere through your storms without tapping into the power of God. When you rise with each day, ask God to strengthen you to face whatever comes your way. He is faithful to encourage your heart and give you courage in spite of your adversity. Rest in Him as He gives you resilience. Trust in Him and watch Him turn your situation around. Abide in Him and stay connected to your power source. In this world we will have challenges, but God gives us all that we need to endure. He is your support and your stability. Be encouraged today and lift your weary head with confidence in the One who will never leave you or forsake you. Though the tides may come, He can calm the seas or cause you to ride the tide with ease. Either way, God will not let you drown in your situation. Remember with God on your side there is nothing you are going through that you cannot rise above. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. 1 Peter 3:10 (NLT). Your words have power. When speaking of or to others remember to be mindful of the words that you choose. It is easy to say the first thing that comes to your mind with no regard to how it can make others feel or look, but self-control of one’s tongue takes great discipline and maturity. Even if a statement is true, think about what your purpose is for saying it? Never stretch the truth and don’t make up scenarios based on the lenses you are looking out of or the limited information you have. Consider the manner in which you are communicating, is it to build up or tear down? Are you trying to make someone else feel or look bad, while trying to make yourself feel or look better? Are you deflecting your pain onto others? Try to hold your tongue, unless to share love or to uplift and encourage. Take inventory of your conversations and ask yourself, who am I hurting or helping? Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
