Ordered & Ordained

Man’s steps are ordered and ordained by the Lord. How then can a man [fully] understand his way? Psalm 20:24 (Amp.) When seeking direction, it is best to consult the one who prepares and directs your path. We go through so much self-exploration to figure out life decisions. Often, it can become disheartening and discouraging when you can’t seem to find your way. I encourage you today to seek God for discernment and clarity. Then be willing to be open to his lead wherever it may take you. Even if it is different than what you imagined. Often God is speaking, but because it doesn’t line up with what we want to hear we do not receive it. What God wants for you is no mystery. It is already written in His story (history). Trust the author of your journey. Your steps are ordered and ordained. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

An Undivided Heart

Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. Psalm 86:11 (NIV) Often we have a hard time completely trusting and depending on God, because our heart is divided into too many places, people and things for the sources of our strength and direction. Seek understanding from the Lord and depend on Him alone. Believe that He is faithful to guide you through life and supply all of your needs. Don’t waiver in your faith and maintain your expectations and hope in Him. Consider all that has been vying for your devotion and make the choice to trust God with all your heart. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Trust His Timing

The Lord is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him, to those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word]. It is good that one waits quietly. For the salvation of the Lord. Lam. 3:25-26 (Amp.) For all those who are waiting for God for anything don’t lose hope. Believe with confidence that God will move on your behalf no matter how long it takes. Stay in place and don’t move in haste. He’s preparing you for where He is taking you. At the appointed time you will receive all that He has in store for you. Delayed doesn’t mean denied. Trust Him and His timing. He’s never late, so worship Him while you wait. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Prov. 16:7 (Amp.) It is never easy to have individuals who oppose you and are hostile towards you. The hurt can seem difficult to endure. If we are not careful, we can give our enemies more space in our mind and emotions than they deserve. Submit your foes to God. Do not respond in your flesh or stoop to their level. Don’t waste energy devising schemes to get back at them. Do what is right even when you are being targeted. Let your words and actions be consistent with the Lord and He will grant you favor. He will cause your enemies to retreat. Stay the course and don’t take the bait. Trust God, continue to love and wait. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Success God’s Way

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him] and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. Prov 16:3 (Amp.) We all have goals and aspirations. There are many means to get what you want in life. As you pursue your dreams, dedicate your plans to the Lord. Ask Him to align your desires with His will. Pray for divine direction and connections. As you seek His face for clarity take heed to His lead. May God give you discernment regarding all your affairs. Remember, fulfilling His will and purpose for your life is the true measure of success. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Embrace His rest

In peace [and with a tranquil heart] I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety and confident trust. Psalm 4:8 (Amp.) With all the vicissitudes of life often we can become consumed with cares making it difficult to truly experience the peace of God. Find solace in knowing that God is more than able to handle all that weighs heavy on your heart and mind. He is the creator of all your days and will keep you through your nights. Place your trust in Him and rest assured that He will take care of you. Give your worries to God in exchange for His serenity and embrace His rest. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4 (NLT) Fear can become paralyzing rendering us incapable of moving forward in our call and purpose. The best way to walk in freedom from all that tries to intimidate us is to call on the name of the Lord. Whether it is an overwhelming nervousness regarding a new opportunity, attacks from your enemies, threats to your relationships or distress of any kind, turn to God for relief and He will rescue you. Be mindful and aware of when you are being filled and consumed with fears. Recognize the symptoms in your body and thought patterns that trepidation has settled in your heart and mind. When you are unable to focus, rest properly or have become fixated on that which is causing you anxiety find rest in God. Know that God is greater than anything that tries to discourage or intimidate you. Decide today to give ALL your cares to God and let your faith prevail over ALL your fears. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Gain Wisdom before forming words

Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish. Prov. 18:13 (NLT) Often we are quick to form an opinion or response without knowing all the facts. It is imperative that we do not be hasty with our thoughts and words. Take time to carefully listen and seek to gain as much accurate information as possible prior to addressing a matter. Be aware of your own triggers, biases and personal positions on the subject or situation that might hinder you from being receptive to the facts. Practice objectivity to have true sincerity in your approach. Gain wisdom before forming words. Be intentional about responding responsibly. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Walking with the great counselor

I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; Indeed, my heart (mind) instructs me in the night. I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:7-8 (Amp.) Allow God to direct your path. He will never steer you wrong. While achieving your goals and conquering your to do list be sure to remain in the will of God. Align your desires with His desires by seeking His face at all times. Before you lay your head down at night ask Him to for discernment and direction. He will give you rest from all worry, ease from anxious thoughts, and provide order to any confusion. Let God lead you on steady and secure ground. He will not let you fall.
