Be [very] careful not to do your good deeds publicly, to be seen by men; otherwise, you will have no reward [prepared and awaiting you] with your Father who is in heaven. Matt. 6:1 (Amp.) Lord, let our deeds be done with a pure heart. If we do anything, we desire your will from the start. If our names are never called and we do not get recognition; let it never change our heart or disposition. We are called by you to do good works and love others. Use as instruments to serve our sisters and brothers. We are not worthy, but by your grace you desire to move through us all. Help us to never forget that to be a conduit of your love is a divine call. Have your way in us, as we do everything we do for your glory. They don’t have to remember our names as long as they hear and receive your story. Search our hearts and motives, so we can live in a way that points others to you. We surrender ourselves today, for you to do what only you can do. Receive us as your humble servants, ready and willing for you to have your way. Use us every minute of the day. The Greatest Gift

For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 (Amp.) There is no greater love than the love God has shown for you and me. This is the season to celebrate the greatest gift that we will ever see. Our Savior, the One we should revere forevermore. God knew that we needed Him to receive all that He had in store. The gift of reconciliation He gave us through His Son. Now we walk in victory, because the battle is already won. All praises to the Lord, who laid down His life for us to live for all eternity. Rejoice for His agape love has set us free. Rejoice! Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4 (Amp.) Delight in Lord all the days of your life. Take pleasure in Him no matter the plight. He’s working it out in your favor and for His glory. Nothing and no one can alter the pages of your story. The Lord is with you in every situation and storm. Under the shadow of the wings of the Most High is where you belong. Take pleasure in Him for He loves you so much. Bask in His secure presence and feel the warmth of His touch. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12:6-11 (NIV) Whatever gifts God has graced us with and placed inside of us, it’s all for His glory. We were created with a divine purpose that is far greater than us. We are carefully crafted by the hand of God to be used as His instrument and vessel here on earth. We are called to be conduits of His power, love, mercy and grace. Seek God’s face for clarity and discernment to understand the gifts He has blessed you with. Know that God has divinely orchestrated placing you in an area of the vineyard, which may change in different seasons. Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever]; the mind of the flesh [with its sinful pursuits] is actively hostile to God. It does not submit itself to God’s law, since it cannot,and those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God. Romans 8:6-8 (Amp.) Every minute of the day we have to make a choice to either follow our flesh or our Spirit. While the flesh may be enticed and tempted on a regular bases we must not succumb to temporary pleasures. The cost of such compromise is not worth forfeiting the assignment God has for you. Beware of all that attempts to lure you down a path that will set you off track. Adhere to the Spirit of God that dwells within you and follow the leading of the Lord. The Holy Spirit will alert, direct, and correct you. As a child of God, you belong to royalty. The King of Kings laid down His life for you. The Holy Spirit dwells in you. God knew you while you were yet in your mother’s womb. Due Season

Be strong and let your hearts take courage, All you who wait for and confidently expect the Lord. Psalm 31:24 (Amp.) Waiting is not always easy. However, when you’re waiting on God He’s worth it. God operates in His perfect timing and He truly does know what’s best for us. He’s not caught by surprise by our life events, nor is He unaware of all our desires. God in His infinite wisdom knows us intimately. He hears our prayers and knows just what we need when we need it. So, when you feel weak and weary find courage in knowing God has not forgotten you.
