Don’t Worry

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matt. 6:34 (NIV) In this passage, Jesus teaches a lesson on not worrying and having faith that God will take care of all your needs. Just as God takes care of the birds, surely He will take care of us. Also, He points out that worrying does not benefit us in any way, but trusting God does. Worry causes stress and leads to anxiety. It never makes anything better, but rather it can make difficult times even more exhausting. Find solace today in knowing that even when things seem out of control, God still sits on the throne. Give Him everything that weighs heavily on your heart and mind, then enter into His rest. ADaubon

The Power of Words

When we open our mouth, we should speak life. What we say should never cause strife. Never let your words be the cause of someone’s hurt feelings. Let your words promote peace and encourage healing. Don’t let anger, unforgiveness, pride and negativity rule your tongue or influence your words. Consider one’s feelings, don’t just focus on being heard. What comes out of your mouth is a reflection of what’s in your heart. So check what’s on the inside of you, before you tear relationships apart. Everything you think, doesn’t necessarily need to be said. Some things are better left in your head. Use wisdom, show self-control and be disciplined in all that you do and say. Let God guide your heart and mind every minute of the day. ADaubon

He Reigns!

Save us Lord and we shall be saved. Give us success in these trying days. We place our hope in you, for we know there is nothing you cannot do. We won’t lose our faith, for you will see us through. If we make any gain in life, we owe it all to your faithfulness. If we have any measure of accomplishment, it is because you have blessed us. Thank you for answering our prayers every time we call upon your name. You are all powerful and you reign. In Jesus name, Amen. ADaubon

Continuous Praise

Don’t give up, no matter how things appear. Let your faith outweigh your fears. Have an expectation for a positive change to manifest. Trust God and let Him do the rest. In the midst of everything, there is always something to be grateful for. Praise God for all that you have and watch Him bless you with more. When your confidence in God is tested, keep your faith without compromise. The more things try to get you down, let your faith arise. Maintain your hope and continue to praise. Give God the glory, for the rest of your days. ADaubon

Mother’s Day Comfort Prayer

God please send comfort to all mothers’ who have lost children and children who have lost parents today. Touch the hearts of women who have longed for children, but have never conceived. Heal broken hearts and feelings of unfulfillment. Fill any voids that have left individuals feeling lonely or hurt. Encourage all your children with your providential care today. I pray they feel your presence and consolation. Let them know they are not forgotten and they are not alone. Help them to rest in your loving arms on this day and everyday. In Jesus name, Amen. Light In Darkness

If you are feeling low today, trust that everything will be alright. There is no situation too dark, that God cannot light. Nothing is too grim, that He cannot shine through. He will come into the darkness and redeem you. He will meet you at your lowest places and bring you out. That’s what His love is all about. Perhaps your thoughts are cloudy and you just can’t seem to find your way. Then the time is now, no more delay. You can be free from depression and free from pain. It’s available if you want it, just call on His name. Some may say, it’s just not that easy. But let us remember, He came to set us free. He came to make us whole, not for anything to have a hold on us. In order for us to walk in the light, deliverance is a must. It’s readily available to all who desire. Take His hand and let Him take you higher. There is greatness in you, that you can’t find in the darkness. Surrender your all to Him and be blessed. ADaubon

Be A Blessing

While we have many personal concerns that we must contend with, let us never neglect the needs of others. We shouldn’t be too consumed with our needs, that we fail to see the hardship of someone else. Be selfless and consider the needs of those in your life, community and all those who cross your path. Let your encounters with others be an opportunity to show the love of Christ. Lend a hand with an open heart. I challenge you today to actively seek an opportunity to be a blessing to someone else, and keep it going for the rest of your days. Let us have a spirit of community and generosity, especially in these trying times. As you desire to be blessed, remember to be a blessing. ADaubon

Prayer for Peace

God in the midst of heightened emotions and feelings of uneasiness, we welcome your spirit of peace. Let your spirit rest, rule and abide deep within us. We give you all the concerns of our hearts and every thought that weighs heavy on our minds. We denounce the spirit of heaviness, anxiety, worry or anguish and invite calmness, serenity and joy into our atmosphere. Let us find peace in your presence and relief in the shelter of your arms. Regulate our emotions, as we partake in your comfort and embrace your rest. Thank you for keeping us in the palm of your hands at all times. Thank you for making us whole and complete.
