"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)
Be confident that in the times of trouble the Lord will be your relief and encouragement. He will renew your strength. He will give you peace of mind and restore your joy. He has promised to sustain you. He will resuscitate your hopes and dreams and awaken your motivation and drive to continue to press on. Hold on, keep the faith and love Him no matter what or who comes or goes in your life. Though you may go through hard times, you will come out on the other side, better than you entered in. It does not matter how challenging the season or circumstances, God is still a promise keeper. Find comfort in knowing that God has not forgotten you, nor has He abandoned you. You are coming out of this storm and He will use your story to give Him glory. Your testimony will inspire others. Faint not and keep pressing forward. Stay encouraged.
It is easy to get so busy that we fail to seek the presence of God. Often we fill our lives with things, people and practices that do not represent Him or His will for us. It is time to silence the background noise in your life and focus on the Lord, so you can hear clearly and grow abundantly. Find the rest and strength that you need in the presence of the Lord. All that you desire can be found in Him. You don’t need any alternatives or replacements. Seek His face in prayer, meditate on His word and soak in His presence. Wherever you feel weak, know that His power will rise up within you and strengthen you. Even when you are feeling at your lowest, press into His loving arms.
There are two things we can be certain of, God will never leave us and He will always lead us. If you are feeling alone today, know that your heavenly Father is omnipresent. He is with you in your highs and your lows. He is the force behind you that helps you grow. He is the love that surrounds you and the grace that flows. When you woke up this morning and took your first breath, it was His goodness that he showed. When difficult times come you don’t need to run and hide. Just take His hand and let Him guide. He knows what is on your mind even when you can’t find the words to say. Trust Him and let Him lead the way. Stay encouraged. ADaubon
God we place our hope in you. Save us from every snare of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill and destroy. Thank you for your protection, guidance and deliverance. We praise you for your agape love and omnipresent power. We place our trust in you to keep every promise you have declared for us and set apart for our lives. Thank you for bringing to fruition your covenant plans for us. We know that you are faithful and will not allow us to be overcome by disappointment or despair. You will save us because you care. Thank you for always being there. In Jesus name Amen. ADaubon
Procrastination is why many of our dreams are deferred. How many projects have you thought of and never started? How many things have you began, but never completed? Perhaps you feel as though it is too late or it will take too long for it to happen. Well my dear friend, time is going to go by no matter what. It’s what you are doing with your time that makes the difference. Don’t put it off any longer. Today is a good day to get started. And every day after that take one step closer to getting it accomplished. Let’s Go and Grow Together!
In this new season make every effort to care for others, especially those who are less fortunate than you. Show that you care by being willing to share. It’s great to give out of your abundance. It’s just as amazing when you have little and are willing to share with someone who has nothing at all. As a community we should take care of each other as much as possible. Be sensitive to the needs of others and see how you can sow a seed in their life. Do what is right in your living and in your giving.
