Light & Love

He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” Luke 10:27 (NIV) In order to love anyone else with sincerity we must first grow in our love relationship with the Lord. Give God all of you, unwavering and fully committed. Know that God truly does love you and there is nothing you can do about it. His love is genuine, unconditional, and irrevocable. He loves you for who you are right now, as He continues to mold you into His image. There is nothing you can do that will separate you from the love of God. Bask in His love, then allow Him to love others through you. He is the greatest example of love. When you truly understand and embrace the love He has for you; you can model that same love towards others. Receive the light and be the light. Receive His love and be a conduit of His love. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” Mark 11:25 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. Matthew 18:21-22. Unforgiveness keeps you bound. Forgiveness sets you free. Let love abound and go forth and walk in your destiny. God has given you grace not to hoard but to freely share. Let go of every offense as you go to God in prayer. As He forgives you, forgive others the same. Release them in the Father’s hands. Press forward! ADaubon

They will fight against you, but they will not [ultimately] prevail over you, for I am with you [always] to protect you and deliver you,” says the Lord. Jer. 1:19 (Amp.) Don’t concern yourself with the plans of man created against you. The Lord is covering you and He will protect you. The traps they set for you will not prosper. The snares that they devise against you will not succeed. In the face of adversities remember God is with you and you are not alone. You can face all your enemies with confidence knowing that God goes before you and He fights on your behalf. When your foes try to intimidate you, have no fear. The Lord will not leave you or forsake you. He is always there. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 15:57 (NIV) When we rely on God we make room for the miraculous. When we keep the faith in spite of what it looks like, we see God move in ways we never imagined. When you think you’re being defeated emotionally, physically or spiritually remember you do not go alone. Have no fear about the battle, because your God has gone before you and will protect you. God gives us the victory and it is through Christ that we receive it. Submit to God and surrender to the Savior. You will come out of this victoriously. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 (Amp.) You are loved today and forevermore. When rejection knocks on your door, remember you are accepted by God. When shame tries to make you feel unworthy, find comfort that you are chosen by the Father just as you are. When people walk away from you, the Lord is waiting with open arms. Let the love of God fill every empty place and void in your life. Never forget you are loved, more than you could ever imagine. Stay the course. ADaubon

Committed To His Will

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Luke 22:42 (NIV) Like our Savior, we must be committed to the will of the Father. When it gets rough, stay committed. When faced with troubles and difficulties, stay the course. When tribulations try to weigh you down, remember Christ laid down His life and rose for you. He is forever present for you. He does not require anything from you that He doesn’t empower you to do. Let your yes to God remain steady in the face of adversity. Submit all your plans to the will of God. If you should ever fall, you will rise again. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Stay The Course

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 (NIV) We must be alert and watchful in order to be ready for all that comes our way. Focusing on God helps us to keep our attention on what matters most. Keep your eyes on the prize. Remain on track for all that God has for you. Don’t be lured by that which appeals to your flesh. Don’t be tricked by the common distractions that try to keep us from being on our guard. Every temptation is designed to take you off course. Don’t willingly go down the path that is orchestrated to derail you. Be alert and continue the path God has created for you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chron. 16:11 (NIV) Focus on God and seek His face. When you’re feeling weighed down find your rest in Him. Retreat into His loving arms and let Him care for you. Be renewed and restored. Press Forward! ADaubon

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Psalm 9:1 (NIV) It’s time for a pause and praise moment. Stop worrying and start worshiping. Stop complaining and start proclaiming. Stop giving space in your life for the woes to mount and reflect on all the blessings you can count. No matter what it looks like there is so much to be grateful for. Go down memory lane, give God some praise for all that He’s done and get ready for all that is in store. Remember all the times that He’s kept you until your heart overflows. Get in a posture of praise for He is truly worthy of that and more. Let the joy of your gratitude awaken your inner peace. There are more blessings to be released. Celebrate for the past, present and all that is to come. For He’s not done. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
