Repent and Press Forward In The Love and Forgiveness of God

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:!0 (NIV) Too often people go into isolation and become withdrawn due to shame and condemnation when they have fallen. Godly sorrow convicts us and spurs us to turn back in the right direction and press forward in Christ. Condemnation keeps you stuck in feelings of shame, defeat, dread, inadequacy and depression. We serve a forgiving God. When we repent and turn away from the ways that displeases Him He is faithful to forgive. We must forgive ourselves and trust that God is continuing to mold us in His image. If anyone is struggling with falling short or sin today, remember God sees you and is there to help you. Don’t give into or stay in the sin that so easily besets you. Place your faith over your flesh and the spirit of God that dwells in you over your sinful desires. We all have sinned and we all need God’s grace. Find an accountability partner, expose that which is trying to keep you bound by confession and continue to press forward in God, knowing that He loves you just as you are while molding you into all He desires you to be.

Prayer: God forgive us for all that we have said or done that was not pleasing in your sight. We desire to be an example of you in all that we say and do. Thank you for loving us and leading us into all truth that sets us free. Thank you for your forgiveness and faithfulness towards us. In Jesus name, amen. Let’s go and Grow Together! ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Ecc. 7:9 (NIV) God, help us to control our emotions and give us the right responses to difficult people and situations. Heal us from the wounds of unresolved hurts and pains, that has become the root to our anger. Remove the residue that prompts us to be easily triggered. Deliver us from unhealthy emotional patterns that causes us to be repeatedly provoked in certain areas of our life. Regulate our emotional well-being and let your peace reside within and through us daily. We desire to be whole and healed vessels, ready to be used by you. We surrender our hearts to you, so what springs forth will represent you. May your light shine in the darkest places within us, so we can be a beacon of light in the world. In Jesus name, amen. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Due Season

Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it. Jer. 1:12 (Amp.) God, help us to hold on and not waiver in our faith. Give us the right posture as we wait. Help us to trust that you are never late. We will walk in all that you’ve predestined, because no one and nothing can alter our fate. You have ordered our steps and will guide our direction. You cover us with your mercy and surround us with your protection. We denounce all anxiety and bask in your divine rest. In due season, your promises will manifest. In Jesus name, amen. ADaubon

Aligned With His Will

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 (NIV) God align our thoughts with your thoughts and our desires will your will. Teach us to seek your presence and be still. We want our petitions to line up with your purpose and divine design for us. We place our lives in your hands; for in you alone we trust. Keep our hearts and mind stayed on you, so our request will be pleasing unto your ear. You’ll never forsake us and are always near. Our faith is strengthened daily without a doubt that you are real. Thank you for hearing our prayers and your faithful response to our appeals. In Jesus name, amen. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Forgiven To Forgive

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Eph. 4:31-32 (NIV) Let go and forgive all those who did not mean you well. Bitterness is not an option for the believer to dwell. The time God has given us simply can’t be wasted by unpleasant emotions and thoughts towards others. God called us to be at peace with one another. God sees and knows all that has been done to you. He will reward you for all that you’ve been through. Don’t let anger, malice or negative thoughts block your view of what God is trying to teach you in the moment. Don’t allow yesterday’s offenses to rob you of your present. Make the choice to let it go, even if you’re never given an explanation or apology. Walk in forgiveness to set you and them free. We must elevate and take the higher road. Plant well and remember you will reap the seeds that you’ve sowed. No matter how tempted you are to let your flesh rise, remember God’s way is always best. So, plant kindness, compassion and forgiveness and let God take care of the rest. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

God Fights Our Battles

Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:17-19 (NKJV) In life we cannot control the actions of others, nor their intentions towards us. But one thing is for sure, our God will defend us. We are called to match God’s energy, not our adversaries. We all reap what we sow. It is not up to us to repay evildoers for their actions. Step aside, let not your peace be disturbed, keep living and loving and let God fight your battles. Press Forward! ADaubon

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” Psalm 91:14-15 (NIV) God sees your love for Him in spite of all that you are going through. His agape love for you will not fail. He will rescue you from all that seems to be getting the best of you. Your difficult days, tribulations and hard times are no match for our God. Be patient and keep your faith in the Lord. He loves you with an everlasting love that the world and all its troubles cannot penetrate. Trust in the Lord, while you wait. Our God is never late. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Surrendered

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Eph. 4:22-24 (NIV) God renew us daily as we walk this walk. Develop our character, motives and thoughts. Search our heart and remove all that is not in alignment with you. Uproot anything that is a hinderance to what you’ve called us to do. Guide us on the right path and help us to not give into temptations to fall back into old habits and ways. We dedicate our life to you for the rest of our days. Expose all that lies dormant in our hearts and minds that wait for an opportunity to lure us in the wrong direction. Expose and deliver us from anything that interferes with us being your reflection. We surrender our will and way to you. We desire to be vessels for you to flow through. We want to represent you in all that we do and say. Have your way in us and through us every moment of the day. In Jesus name, amen. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Freedom Friday

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. Micah 7:8 (NIV) No matter how bad things get, we have an assurance that in Christ defeat is not part of our story. Though it may appear as though we are down for the count, by the power of God we will rise again. Be encouraged today and know that you are not the sum of your negative experiences. This battle is the Lord’s and He shall vindicate you. All that you’ve lost God can restore and more. Your future is in God’s hands, so hold on to His unchanging hand. Trust Him in the turbulence. Have faith over fear. Denounce the spirit of despair. Rebuke the roots of rejection. Prepare for God’s redirection. Look to God for your strength. Arise, God’s not done with you yet. He will get the glory from your story. Press Forward! ADaubon
