Eph. 2:10 (Amp.) There is a set path for each of us. Often there is confusion when we seek to find the way apart from Christ or based on what we think we want and need. Sometimes what we want is rooted in our own desires that may not be in alignment with His will. Are you willing to let go and let God? Are you able to be completely dependent on Him to guide you? Will you trust that He opens and closes doors for a reason? Today is the day to put your hand in His and let Him take the lead. Living For An Audience Of One

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 (NIV) Often when we are on assignment for God we can become distracted by the opinions of others. It is important to remain tuned in to what God is saying and drown out the noise of those who are speaking that are not hearing from Him. You will never be able to meet the standards of those who have opinions that are fickle and ever-changing. Don’t try to prove yourself to anyone. Take all the opinions of your critics to Christ. Trust the Creator for everything that concerns you. God did not need anyone’s opinion before He chose you, and neither do you to carry out His purpose through you. Press Forward. ADaubon

Strength for The Wait

Be strong and let your hearts take courage, all you who wait for and confidently expect the Lord. Psalm 31:24 (Amp.) Position yourself for what’s next. Trust and believe He’s going to give you the very best. With confidence claim that God will take care of all that concerns you. He won’t let you down, and He always comes through. Empowered by Faith In God’s Promises

But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God, being fully convinced that God had the power to do what He had promised. Romans 4:20-21 (Amp.) Our faith in God helps to strengthen us for the journey. Trusting in God stifles our worries and extinguishes the burning anxiety within. When tempted to doubt, believe that God has not forgotten you, nor His promises towards you. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Gal. 6:9 (NIV) If you’re feeling weary and tired in the work that you’re doing be encouraged to hold on and hang in there. It’s not always easy to continue to plant and wait for the harvest to come. Know that God sees your efforts and you do not labor in vain. Don’t be discouraged by what you see or don’t see right now. Don’t be overwhelmed by feelings of defeat or inability to continue on. Sure-footed In Christ

Therefore, let all who are faithful offer prayer to you; at a time of distress, the rush of mighty waters shall not reach them. Psalm 32:6 (NRSVU) Stay prayed up in order to not be beaten down by life. At all times seek the Lord in prayer. When we seek God with all our hearts, through the vicissitudes of life, we will remain sure-footed. When troubles come and the tides rise He is our help. God is faithful to carry us through difficult days and sustain us during challenging times. As we daily face concerns that seem to mount, let us look to Him to be our stability in inconsistent places, our solid ground in shaky spaces and our shelter in the storm. Go With God

Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and take action; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor abandon you [but will guide you in the construction] until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.” I Chron. 28:20 (Amp.) There will be times in our life when God gives us an assignment that we may think is too big for us or out of our realm of capability. We must believe that when God has called us to a task He has already gone before us and prepared the way. He has also prepared us in advance for all that we are called to do.
