Freedom Friday

Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips [to keep me from speaking thoughtlessly]. Psalm 141:3 (AMP) It is always good to think before you speak. Quick responses can often lead to regret. Our words reflect what is in our heart. Pray for discernment, wisdom and self-control. Press Forward! ADaubon

He Cares for You!

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NIV) We must put all our concerns in the hands of God. Release the heavy burdens that try to weigh you down and surrender them to the Lord. Humbly acknowledge that He is bigger than your problems and your adversaries. He’s capable of carrying you and lifting your troubles. He will give you rest for your weariness and peace for the pain. Not only does He care for us, He takes care of us. Give Him all the concerns of your heart today and receive the relief you desired. Let go and let God. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love]. Gal. 6:2 (Amp.) While faced with your own life situations and emotions, remember to consider the needs and concerns of others. Look for ways to encourage and uplift someone else. Lend a helping hand to those less fortunate. Don’t turn your back on those who are in distress, rather provide comfort and care. You are blessed to be a blessing. Let God use you to touch the life of someone else, and trust Him to take care of all that concerns you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Freedom Friday

A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger and patient calms disputes. Prov. 15:18 (Amp.) The right temperament and tone can go a long way. If you can’t respond in peace then walk away and revisit it another day. Press Forward! ADaubon

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Phil, 2:1-2 (NIV) The love of God unites us and keep us on one accord. If there be any conflict, give it to the Lord. His desire for us is that we live and serve as one. For if only we did imagine the work that could be done. Let us labor together hand and hand. A house divided will never stand. Strive to work together as one unit moving in harmony. Let’s join together and fulfill our divine destiny. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Love Like None Other

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. Jer. 31:3 (NIV) God thank you for your love that flows like a river and encompasses me. Your love heals my pain and sets me free. I’m drawn by your mercy and kindness and nurtured by your care. You have all my heart and I’m not going anywhere. Though the tides come and the billows roll, I remain steadfast in your arms. Nestled in your love I’m safe from all harm. Thank you for your love that has saved my life and made me whole. I’m grateful for the gift of your affection; your agape love I behold. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Love That Flows

Beyond all these things put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love, which is the perfect bond of unity [for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others]. Col 3:14 (Amp.) Lord help us to be fully clothed with your love and compassion. Let your love be evident in our life and all our actions. Show us the way to be agents of your love in the world each day. Let our life reflect your love in all we do and say. Help us to have unselfish love that will cause us to unite. Let love mend broken relationships and resolve all strife. Let your love be evident in our life as we strive to be an example of you. We surrender for you to use us to be a vessel for your love to flow through. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Light Up The Dark

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9 (NIV) You are not responsible for the actions of others. You are 100% responsible for how you respond. It takes great discipline and self-control to not be provoked by others, especially when their intentions are of an evil nature. Again, we must remember how we respond says more about us than them. When faced with evildoers, do not give them more energy than they deserve. Don’t be lured into their web of conflict. Let your light shine in the face of darkness. God will take care of you and you will be rewarded for your faithfulness. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
