Monday Meditation

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Psalm 62:5 (NIV) God we place all our hope in you. Though the tides may turn, and the storms will come; you have promised to bring us through. We stand on your promises, for your faithfulness is true. Resting in your arms is the safest place for us to be. Maintaining our faith in you helps us to live worry free. You answer every prayer and hear every aching groan. With you by our side we are never alone. Thank you for all the mercies you’ve consistently shown. When we dwell in you, we are refreshed. In exchange for our burdens, we receive your rest. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you. Luke 10:19 (Amp.) Lord help us to walk in our God given authority. Help us to remember that you are the one who writes our story. We need not worry about the snares of the enemy or the attacks that will come. We are firm in our faith and know where our help comes from. We shall not tremble in fear. We trust that you are always near. Thank you for the gift of your Spirit that dwells within. Because you won the battle there is no fight that we cannot win. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do], from this time forth and forever. Psalm 121:8 (Amp.) The path that God has laid before you is blessed and covered with His protection. He will keep you safe from the snares of the enemy that comes from any direction. He will cause you to triumph in every area of your life. Be strong and keep the faith no matter the pain or strife. Don’t worry about what is ahead of you or what is behind. Rest in Him as He guards your heart and mind. Believe with everything in you that God will surround you with His grace, mercy and favor. Now go forth trusting in your Savior. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. Rom. 14:4 (Amp.) It’s a new year and a good time to recommit to reading the Bible more regularly. Invest in a study Bible and be intentional about making time to read consistently with a heart to understand. The goal is not to make it a ritual, but rather an incorporated part of your day to nurture your faith. Enhance your life and the experiences therein by continuing to develop the Spirit within. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Beyond all these things put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love, which is the perfect bond of unity [for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others]. Col. 3:14 (Amp.) As you prepare your wardrobe for the week, consider wrapping yourself in love. Be sensitive to the needs of others and aim to promote unity and oneness. Unselfishly consider others, avoid being self-centered and seek good for someone else. You never know the impact you may have in someone’s life when you extend yourself in a way that is uplifting and encouraging. Allow God to use you as a vessel of His love and trust that He will take care of everything that concerns you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8 (NIV) When we need direction you never lead us astray. When the way seems dark you lovingly guide the way. You are the one who orders our steps, so we will follow your lead. Speak a word Lord and we will take heed. We pray for all those who are stuck in limbo and are seeking you for clarity. Give them assurance and serenity. In due season all that you’ve spoken over our life will come to fruition, because your word is true. You love us with an everlasting love, and we place all our trust in you. Let’s go and grow together. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty emancipation from bondage, true freedom]. 2 Cor. 3:17 (Amp.) God, we thank you for the liberty that we have in you. We are no longer bound by what we’ve gone through. You have delivered us, and we are not going back. We trust you to keep our life on track. With you we can truly live and be free. All glory to the One who died to set us free. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted. Prov 12:16 (NLT) When you are on the receiving end of the antics of those who are trying to offend you with their words or actions, don’t take the bait. It is easy to respond in the moment with the same energy you are getting, but it takes self-control and self-awareness to refrain from allowing yourself to be drawn into conflict. Know who you are in God, so the opinions and words of others do not trigger you or make you feel the need to defend yourself. Don’t personalize the attacks of the offender. Usually, their behavior is more about them than you. Don’t let them project their negativity onto you. When you are facing attacks of any kind, think twice before giving a response. SPPStop, pray and put on the full armor of God. Most importantly, if your communication cannot be done in a peaceful manner its best to table it until both parties are ready and willing to do so with love, integrity and maturity. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Watered Roots

“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NLT) Lord we rely on you alone. We thank you for all the great mercies you’ve shown. Our hope cannot be shaken or tossed to and fro. Water our roots so our faith can continue to grow. We won’t give into worry or despair. In your hands we cast every care. In you we shall abide. In you our faith resides. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
