Be Uplifted!

Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become restless and disturbed within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. Psalm 42:5 (Amp.) When you are feeling inner turmoil and uneasy within, don’t sink into a state of despondency. Exercising your faith is the antidote to despair. Press your way into the presence of God by prayer, worship and meditating on His word. Soak in Him and absorb His comfort, love and compassion. In the presence of God is where we find our strength to continue on our journey with peace and power. Fix your eyes on Him and HIs promises. Place all your trust and hope in Him and wait with assured confidence that He will answer your prayers. Don’t hold back your praise until you’re on the other side of your situation, worship Him while you wait. Praise Him because you are not forgotten, and you are never alone. Complete & Established

 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be]. 1 Peter 5:10 (Amp.) Often trials and tribulations can make you feel depleted. Maintain your hope in God. There is an end date on your difficult times and all that was held back will be released. Your present circumstances are not an immovable roadblock, but rather a mountain that will be moved. You will receive all that God has ordained for you. No matter how far you may feel knocked down, you will be restored and firmly established. What God has for you is for you and your blessings are too big for the box that tries to restrain you. In Him you are complete and whole. You are and will be all that God has called you to be. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Waiting Mode

We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) Rom. 8:24-25 (NLT) Many of us are most comfortable when moving in areas of great certainty. However, there will be times in our life when we are in waiting mode. In these moments it is imperative to maintain our hope with confidence. Don’t become restless even when tempted to worry or become anxious. Trust God and believe that His plans for you will unfold in His time. While you are waiting see what He is trying to show you right where you are on the way to where He is taking you. Embrace how He is molding and developing you in preparation for all that He has for you. Just because you don’t see movement, it does not mean God is not working. Trust the process and keep the faith. Whatever you do, don’t give up or become discouraged. Your time is coming. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Live Thankfully

Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thes. 5:16-18 (Amp.) I will lift up my concerns to you in prayer. I surrender it all to you, because I know you care. I lay it all down at your feet. For with you I can walk through the fire and not feel the heat. In every season you have promised to keep me. Your provision and protection cover me far beyond what my eyes can see. Wherever I am right now is no accident. I trust in you and will be content. With gratitude I will approach life every day. I have faith in you to continue to lead the way. I will give thanks in every situation and in you I will wait. I am grateful for life and for this I celebrate. I will not waiver no matter what I go through. With a thankful heart I will remain steadfast in you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Give thanks to the God of heaven. For His lovingkindness (graciousness, mercy, compassion) endures forever. Psalm 136:26 (Amp.) God, we thank you for your kindness and abundant grace. For answering every prayer when we humble ourselves and seek your face. Your loving touch can never be matched or replaced. The remembrance of your blessings can never be erased. You attend to all our needs with such compassion and affection. Your unconditional love heals all prior rejection. We embrace your lovingkindness as it rains from above. If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18 (Amp.) In interactions with others, you are only responsible for your responses and attitude. When provoked to respond in a way that does not promote peace, choose the higher road. When tempted to react to those who are clearly trying to bait you into an unpleasant exchange don’t fall into the trap. Protect your serenity and pursue peace. Don’t let anyone or anything cause you to be moved in a direction that does not uphold or foster your equanimity. Be leveled-headed and maintain your composure. Be intentional about acquiring peace within and with others. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. Psalm 33:11 (NLT) There is comfort in knowing that God has plans for you. Keep pressing forward and do all that He has called you to do. Stay the course and don’t get discouraged or overwhelmed with frustration. Trust God and remain patient. Move with a sense of hope and expectation. Flow with assurance and walk in revelation. His plan for you will stand firm like a strong tower. It will unfold by His hand and be protected by His power. The path that God has for you is sturdy, so you can safely follow HIs lead. Say yes, rise with confidence and proceed. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time. 1 Peter 5:6 (Amp.) The way up is to humble yourself before God. Set aside your pride and selfish ambitions in order to be exalted by God. Don’t just strive for position or status, truly seek to be the hands and feet of God. As you strive to get ahead in life, don’t forget humility goes a long way. When we humble ourselves before God, we desire for our will to align with His will for us. We treat others as we would want to be treated and we don’t walk around with a haughty attitude. When you humble yourself before God with your heart, mind and soul, He will elevate you at the appointed time. Avoid being impatient or moving ahead in haste. All that you acquire apart from Him is built on a shaky ground. Trust God and let Him place you on a solid and immovable foundation. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Prov. 16.18 (Amp.) Lord remove every trace of a proud spirit from within; search us through and through. Help us to lay down everything and everyone that we have exalted above you. We denounce vanity, arrogance, entitlement or looking down on others. For you have put us on this earth to love one another. Let your glory illuminate within us and bring light to all that needs to be changed in our attitude and actions. For pleasing you is the ultimate satisfaction. Let our hearts be undivided, so we do not take the bait and fall. Staying in your will is the be all and end all.
