Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 1 Peter 4:8-10 (NRSV) True love perseveres in the midst of opposition. It holds up during times of stormy weather or challenging conditions. Because of love we are able to forgive. It’s the only way to live. Remember to take care of others and willingly share. Take time to show others how much you care. If you want peace with others and peace within, authentic love is where it all begins. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
As we open gifts and continue our family traditions, let us never forget the real meaning of Christmas. Take time to reflect on the wonderful gift of Christ. Thank Him for His sacrifice. May the light of Christmas be with you always.
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Col 2:6-7 (NLT) Be rooted in Christ and find your strength. He’s your strong and firm foundation on which you stand. Follow Him with all your heart. As your faith grows, let your gratitude continuously flow. This Christmas, celebrate Christ by praising Him with a grateful heart. Let’s go and grow together. Merry Christmas! ADaubon
“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves. Psalm 107:28-29 (NLT) In times of trouble, call on the Lord. Too often we are calling on the wrong people when we are in distress. Then we are left disappointed when they are unable to be there for us the way we need them. Instead of putting expectations on the wrong individuals, cry out to God. He is the source of your strength. As we meditate on the scripture of the week, remember God hears us when we cry out to Him. He will answer every call. He will save you from it all. God is faithful and He won’t turn His back on you. He is with you in all that you go through. When you have tribulations in life, God will deliver you. Stay encouraged. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Cor. 5:19 (NIV) You are forgiven and redeemed. You are one with God. He is in you and you are in Him. There is nothing that can separate you from His love. You are forgiven and restored. You’ve been purchased with a price and your debt is paid in full. As God has forgiven you, pay it forward by forgiving others. Seek reconciliation rather than separation. This week as you meditate on this verse, truly walk in the freedom you have been granted, and set others free from every offense against you. Just as you have been forgiven, sincerely walk in forgiveness. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me? Psalm 118:6 (NRSV) No matter who or what comes up against you, have courage and know, with God on your side you have the victory. Walk in the authority He has given you and operate in the power He has bestowed upon you. You are a warrior and a conqueror, in Jesus name. As we meditate on the verse of the week, face all that seeks to intimidate you and declare, I am not afraid, I will not fear, because the Lord is with me. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 20:24, NKJV) I encourage you to fulfill your God given purpose. There will be many things and people that will attempt to derail you and get you off course, but do not be moved. Your life and your purpose matters. In spite of your obstacles, attacks, disappointments, age, education, marital status, or position in life, keep pressing towards all that God has called you to do. As we meditate on the verse of the week, seek God’s face to resurrect those things that you have abandoned and vow to recommit to all that you have neglected. You were called by God, now finish the race with joy. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
God, treat us kindly. You’re our only hope. First thing in the morning, be there for us! When things go bad, help us out! Isaiah 33:2 (MSG) No matter how difficult things are, there is always hope. It may not happen how and when you want, but God will bring you through it all. Every day that you live, He gives you new grace every morning. In your weakest moments, he gives you all the strength that you need. As you meditate on the verse of the week, remember when things get bad, God is your help. Don’t let your hopes be dashed and never give up. There is nothing impossible with God. Give Him all that troubles your heart. Let Him lift you and your burdens. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon.
Let the whole world know what he has done. Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Psalm 105:1 (NIV) As we see the move of God in the land, let us not forget to continue to give Him praise. As we meditate on the verse of the week, let us remember God is worthy to be praised. Look to God who is the source of our help and strength. God still sits on the throne. Let us declare together, God is real and it’s time to heal! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
