Go With God

Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and take action; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor abandon you [but will guide you in the construction] until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.” I Chron. 28:20 (Amp.) There will be times in our life when God gives us an assignment that we may think is too big for us or out of our realm of capability. We must believe that when God has called us to a task He has already gone before us and prepared the way. He has also prepared us in advance for all that we are called to do. Move forward knowing God will not abandon you or the assignment He has given you. Let’s go grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually. I Chron. 16:11 (NRSVU) Sometimes we seek strength when we are low; but we look for it in all the wrong places. Seek the Lord first in relationship; then receive the benefit of His strength. No one and nothing can give you the help you need other than the Lord. The power that you desire can only be found in the one who created you and knows all your innermost parts. Whatever weight you are carrying, release it in His presence. All that you are missing, find in His presence. Let Him restore and refill you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. Psalm 34:1 (Amp.) No matter what you go through, don’t lose your praise. We must give God praise with all that we have, even when we don’t feel like it. He is worthy on our good days and our bad days. Don’t let your circumstances or challenges cripple your ability to praise God. Worship Him for who He is and all He’s done. Believe in your heart that if He’s done it before He can do it again. When you feel like exalting God is a hard press, press anyway. In the midst of your worship you will receive the peace you seek and the rest you desire. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Protect Your Space

“In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.” Eph. 4:26-27 (NIV) Most of our anger derives from pain and hurt feelings. Having an inability to forgive or process your emotions in a healthy and safe way can plant seeds of bitterness and anger deep within you. It is better to settle a matter before it takes root and grows a life of its own. It is not easy, but it is worth the effort to release what’s trying to keep a hold on you. When your emotions are hemmed up in a negative place you have now invited the enemy into your space. Guard yourself by denying access through the door of anger. May God keep you as you surrender all things and people unto Him, so you can walk in peace and experience true rest. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Bountiful Harvest

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Psalm 37:5 (NRSVUE) There is a return on trusting God. When we rely on Him, we receive the manifestation of all that He intended for us. When we walk by faith and not by sight, He rewards our faithfulness unto Him and satisfies the places in our life that are longing to be filled. Give all your cares and concerns to the Lord and commit your heart to trusting in Him. Seeds planted in trust and nurtured by unwavering faith will yield a bountiful harvest.
