Monday Meditation

The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:9-10 (NLT) Have you ever experienced overwhelming excessive burdens in your life? Do you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders? Have you ever dealt with afflictions and distress that seemed too much to bear? Today, God reminds us that He is our present help in the times of trouble. Before you give up, try trusting God. When you are at your lowest know that God can meet you right where you are and lift you up to a higher ground. People may abandon you and others may disappoint you, but God will never forsake you. As we meditate on the verse of the week, seek God’s face for every concern in your life. Lay it all before Him and receive strength, rest and peace from on high. God remembers you and He sees all that you are going through. You are not alone and with Him you can make it through anything and everything that comes your way. Hold on, hang in there and don’t give up. God’s got you! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Firm Foundation

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:22-24 (NIV) When you delight in the way of the Lord, you will follow His lead for your life. God sees your heart and He will prepare the path ahead of you. If you should stumble along the way, God will uphold you and prevent you from falling. If you should get off course, He will lovingly guide you back. As we meditate on the verses of the week, if you feel like you are on unstable ground in any area of your life, ask God if you are walking in His will? When we long for God and truly desire to be in alignment with His purpose for our life, He will keep us on solid ground. He is your support and firm foundation. But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord God my refuge and placed my trust in Him, That I may tell of all Your works. Psalm 73:28 (Amp.) There are many things and people that would like you to trust in them. Always remember there is no safer place to be than in the arms of God. God is your covering and He will keep you from all harm. God will protect you and shield you from all your enemies. Your season of testing will become your testimony. Have faith in God that He will bring you out, and after you get your deliverance share it with the world. Thank God for what He is doing in your life and praise Him in advance for what He will do in the future. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

The Great Protector

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; Psalm 91:9-11 (NIV) God is our protector, but you have to declare it over your life. Believe with your heart and mind and proclaim that the Lord is your refuge. He’s your shelter in the time of storm. He charges His angels to watch over you. Today, serve notice to everything in your life that is attempting to cause you fear and say, the Lord is fighting for me and I shall not be moved, hurt or harmed. Now go forth, with your head high, without fear or trembling and live your best life. You’re covered! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

“For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” Deut. 20:4 (NIV) Have you ever felt as though you were under attack? Perhaps your enemies seem to be closing in on you and you just don’t know what to do. This text reminds us that we don’t have to be intimidated by those who oppose us or in times of battle. Have confidence in knowing that God goes with us. If God is for us, who can be against us? When you walk with the Lord and rely on Him to fight your battles, you are already on the winning side. As we mediate on the verse of the week, be encouraged and know that you are not alone. God is with you and has declared you will walk in victory. Don’t quit prematurely. Keep the faith and believe that God will give you strength to keep going. He will sustain, protect and deliver you. Have faith in God’s sovereignty and walk in your victory. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love]. Gal 6:2 (Amp.) Having compassion for others is necessary to display Christlike love in our life. We are not called to fix everyone’s problems, but we are called to support each other along the journey. We can all go further if we help each other along the way. If you see someone in need, offer assistance. When someone is down, be a source of encouragement. Be a friend, extend generosity with your time and resources. If you witness someone going in the wrong direction, without judgement or piousness, gently advise them to return back to the right path. Intercede for those who are going through difficult times, but also be willing to lend a helping hand. It is God’s will that we genuinely seek opportunities to strengthen one another. As we meditate on the verse of the week, be honest with yourself and others when you need help and find ways to support others. Allow God to use you to be a blessing to others, as He uses others to bless you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
