The Lord Sees You

When Jesus went into Peter’s house [in Capernaum], He saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying sick in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her; and she got up and served Him.”

Matthew 8:4-5 (Amp)

Sometimes in life we can feel overwhelmed and may not even have the strength to call out to the Lord. In this text, Peter’s mother did not approach Jesus. The text doesn’t say Peter’s mother asked for healing. Jesus saw her condition and responded to that which he saw.

I don’t know what is ailing you. Are you sick in your body? Are you physically and emotionally drained? Has the pressures of life taken its toll on you? Do you feel lethargic, weak, and drained physically, emotionally or mentally? Has your situation immobilized you and left you feeling as though you have no strength to go on?

Be encouraged today because the Lord sees you. He knows what you are facing. When the Lord sees us, He is not just a spectator but He is a regulator. He can and will turn your situation around. There is hope because no matter what you are going through there is nothing to hard for God. Hang in there and don’t give up.
