In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. Psalm 118:5 (NLT) There are so many encouraging takeaways from this verse. When you are hurting there is help. When you are faced with difficulties or troubles of any kind cry out to God. When you are feeling overwhelmed, like you can’t take it anymore, remember the Lord is always available to you. God is faithful and answers our prayers. He sees and hears us; He knows exactly what we need. He will set you free from all that weighs you down or tries to keep you bound. Call on God, trust Him and walk in your liberty. With God you can be free from everything and anyone that works in direct opposition of His will and desire for your life. Let’s go and grow together.
