Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 (NRSV) Have you ever felt like your heart was heavy and weighed down by the concerns in your life? Too often, we overstay in these emotional places trying to weather these tumultuous times in isolation. Some of us say we have given it to God, but pick it back up and wonder why we don’t feel any relief? Today, I encourage you to trust and believe in God’s ability to keep you during life’s difficult seasons. Even if it’s challenging, choose to trust God anyway. He promises to sustain us and keep us from falling into the depths of despair. You’re not alone and you will get through this. God will prove himself to be your comforter, defender and deliverer. As we meditate on the verse of the week, I encourage you to surrender ALL of your burdens to God and find rest for your heart, mind and soul. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
