Divine Counsel

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8 (NIV) Each day we are faced with decisions to make. Often, we toil over which way to go. We seek advice from friends or companions who are unaware of God’s plans for us. We rely on our own reasoning, which is sometimes influenced by past experiences and hidden fears. Try seeking God first for clarity and direction. When we rely on God for guidance He will lead us to the right door, divine opportunities and the path that was uniquely designed for us. It takes great faith to lean not on your own understanding and trust God’s sovereign instructions. Seek to be in the will of God. Take heed of His counsel. He loves you and will not lead you astray. He will guide you with a loving eye. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember in all your planning, plan to trust God. Allow Him to lead the way.
