Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. Proverbs 16:3 (Amp.) In your quest for success seek God for guidance. What good is it to get ahead if you’re headed in the wrong direction? What is the purpose of fulfilling a role, if the role is not fulfilling your purpose? What value is a position if the position is not where God has designed you to be? Seek God’s face, so every path that you travel is leading you to where He is taking you rather than diverting you from where He desires you to go. Just because a door is open it doesn’t mean it was meant for you to enter. And just because a door is closed it doesn’t mean God will not open it in due season. Move with caution and seek wisdom and discernment. Every opportunity that comes your way, take it to the Lord. He will reveal to you the authentic versus the counterfeit. Remember, the greatest accomplishment in life is that God completes the work that He has intended to do in and through you. Trust Him, because His success is better than all the rest.
