Established & Blessed

All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Prov. 16:2-3 (NIV) As we make our goals and plans in life, we must be careful and consider our motives. Everything that we do and say should be motivated by God’s love, His desires for us and the lives of others. Being in alignment with the Lord is more important than our checklist of accomplishments and things to do. Remember, it’s not what you do, but why you’re doing it. Our actions will follow our heart and our words reflect what’s in our heart. We must constantly be in prayer to be led by the Spirit and not our flesh. Pray to be an instrument and conduit of God’s love on earth. Be devoted to Him and trust that He will do the rest. He will establish you, direct your path and place you on a solid foundation.
