He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. Psalm 18:16-17 (NLT) When we abide under the shadow and shelter of our most powerful God, we have no need to fret. Though the attacks come and our enemies may rise, our God will defend us. When the storm arises and the waves seem to be overtaking you stand still and keep your faith. When your adversaries plot and scheme against you, God sees it all and will not let their plans succeed. Their perceived power and position are absolutely no match for our God. Never forget that when people war against you they wage a war against the One who protects you.
