How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Psalm 19:12 (NLT) God, examine my heart and remove all residue from anything that is not like you. I surrender my heart to you to search through and through. Deliver me from every desire that is not inspired by your Spirit that dwells inside. Expose all that’s hidden, so I will never backslide. Forgive me for every covert and overt sin. I need you daily to cleanse me deep within. Help me to triumph over temptation and keep my eyes fixed on your precepts. When tempted to be lured off track help me to do what’s right without regrets. My longing for you trumps all other desires, including the hidden ones that I can’t see.
