“Do not go on boasting so very proudly. Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth; For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And by Him actions are weighed (examined).” 1 Samuel 2:3 (Amp.) Humility is a Christlike attribute that we should all reflect in our lives daily. When we walk in rooms and spaces our desire should be that His light shines through us, rather than us shining the light on ourselves. All that we are or will ever be is by the grace of God, and all the glory belongs to Him. We don’t need to impress others with our resume of accomplishments or titles, because our value and worth is wrapped up in Christ and Christ alone. Acknowledging and accepting Christ’s sacrifice and devoting ourselves to live for Him is the most important decision we’ll ever make. Fulfilling His call and purpose in our life is the highest achievement. Being used by Him to make a difference in the lives of others is a win for the kingdom. Let our focus and our hearts remain fixed in the right place for the right reason. Let our motives and our actions point the world to our Savior. If we are to boast about anyone, let it be our Triune God. For when it is all said and done our desire is to hear Him say well done. Press Forward! ADaubon
