Rest, Relax & Rely On The Lord

When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comforts delight me. Psalm 94:19 (Amp.) When the cares of the world try to overwhelm you, retreat to the loving arms of the Lord. When worry tries to consume your thoughts, center your mind on Him. Reflect on His goodness and hold onto His unfailing love for you. When your heart is heavy, turn to the God of all comfort. A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. Prov. 14:30 (NIV) Find peace in your life with all the Lord has provided to you. There is a danger in looking at others and coveting what they have or the life they live. You don’t know all they had to endure or go through to get where they are. When you try to possess what others have simply because you secretly desire to be like them, you may be abandoning or neglecting what God has for you. It’s ok to celebrate others or even be inspired by them. But it is unhealthy to be driven by envy and attempt to wear their shoes while they’re walking in them. Follow the path God has for you. Every Step With God

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NIV) There is an inner peace that accompanies trusting God with all your heart. Don’t wait until you’re in over your head, trust Him from the start. Place your hope in Him with the expectation that He will bring you through. Have faith in Him and watch Him deliver you. He’ll give you power when you’re weary and strength when you feel weak. Allow Him to fight your battles and you will have victory instead of defeat. Be encouraged to continue to press forward, knowing God will carry you over all that comes your way. Light & Love

He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” Luke 10:27 (NIV) In order to love anyone else with sincerity we must first grow in our love relationship with the Lord. Give God all of you, unwavering and fully committed. Know that God truly does love you and there is nothing you can do about it. His love is genuine, unconditional, and irrevocable. He loves you for who you are right now, as He continues to mold you into His image. There is nothing you can do that will separate you from the love of God. Bask in His love, then allow Him to love others through you. He is the greatest example of love. When you truly understand and embrace the love He has for you; you can model that same love towards others. Receive the light and be the light. Receive His love and be a conduit of His love. Matthew 18:21-22. Unforgiveness keeps you bound. Forgiveness sets you free. Let love abound and go forth and walk in your destiny. God has given you grace not to hoard but to freely share. Don’t concern yourself with the plans of man created against you. The Lord is covering you and He will protect you. The traps they set for you will not prosper. The snares that they devise against you will not succeed. In the face of adversities remember God is with you and you are not alone. You can face all your enemies with confidence knowing that God goes before you and He fights on your behalf. When your foes try to intimidate you, have no fear.
