About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

Monday Meditation

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Psalm 150:6 (NIV) This is a day that we have never seen before and will never see again. Thank you, God, for another day of life, health and strength. We worship you for continuing to extend your grace and mercy to us that is new every morning. In spite of all that we’ve been through and are going through, you are still worthy to be praised. At all times and in every season, you are worthy to be praised. We bless your name God with all that is within us and thank you for another day of life. We cast aside anything that tries to hinder us from worshiping you and giving you praise. We denounce every attack on our mind and emotions that tries to make us believe that our problems and circumstances should hinder our praise. We worship you for who you are. On our good days we will worship you and on our bad days we will exalt your holy name. In the midst of worship, we encounter and bask in your presence, peace and power. With outstretched arms we worship you and with the breath that you have given us we give you praise. Receive our praise and worship unto you as we receive your rest. In the name above every other name, amen. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word, I put my hope. Psalm 130:5 (NIV) There will be times in life when we feel like we are at our lowest. It is in these moments that we have to surrender all our cares to the only one who can move on our behalf. The Lord sees your pain and knows all that you’re going through. He will never leave you nor abandon you. He is our help when we feel helpless. He is our strength when we are weak. He is the light in the midst of our darkness. He is our rock when we feel like we are on shaky ground. He is our comfort when we are overwhelmed with pain and despair. God is all that we need. With everything in you wait, with unwavering faith, for the Lord. With all your heart, wait. When you feel like you want to give up, wait. When it seems like it is never going to change, wait. He is always worth the wait. Place all your hope in Him and hang on to the word that He has spoken to you and over your life. Even when you don’t see it, He’s still working on your behalf. Believe it and wait patiently for Him. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Trust Without Delay

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9::23-24 (NLT) What seems impossible with man is possible with God. Don’t shrink back from challenging times in life and do not fear the unknown. Don’t let trepidation keep you in your comfort zone. Push beyond your perceived limitations and boundaries and allow yourself to grow. There is so much that God has in-store for you, but you can’t be afraid to go. Have faith even when your problems mound. Trust God to turn your situation around. In this text, a man questions if God can help His son. The Lord confirms He is the faithful one. The same goes for us in our life today. Believe with certainty in God without delay and watch Him make a way. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. I Cor. 16:13-14 (NIV) We have to guard our heart and mind, so that we will truly be in-tune to the path of God for our life. Be spiritually alert and sober-minded, so you can accurately discern all that God is saying to you as He moves through you. Stand firm in your faith and do not waiver, not even in the face of adversity. Let your feet be planted on solid ground, so you are not tossed to and fro by the winds of life or the fancy of those who try to divert your attention from your purpose or call. Find courage and know that all of heaven is behind you and the Lord goes before you. Be strong and remember God has prepared victory for you. Embrace the love of God and trust His sovereign plans for your life. Let love be your guide and foundation. All that we do should be done in love. Christ is our example of self-sacrificing and unconditional love. It is in you, just release it into the world. Go forth in love and let God clear your path. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Mirror of My Heart

Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy. Prov. 12:20 (NIV) Look in the mirror and what do you see? Do you find someone seeking peace or one whose actions are driven by deceit? Do you make plans to advance yourself, while seeking for others quest to unravel? Do you device schemes to pass others by or create roadways for others to travel? Every moment of the day we make choices that align with what we really believe in our heart. Be mindful of your intentions and motives from the start. Don’t take part in evil plans that will cause havoc for another. Choose the route that carefully considers others. Let peace be the foundation for all that you do. What you put out in the world will eventually come back to you. Forget the plots and plans against others and let kindness lead. Sow good seeds, do good deeds and wait for your plans to succeed. Now look again in the mirror and what do you see? Prayerfully, one without plans for evil deeds. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

The Lord Will Provide

Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. Matthew 6:34 (The Message) There are so many things that will try to maintain our attention. There is always something or someone we can worry about. When you find yourself over contemplating the future to the point where it consumes you with worry, take a step back and regain your focus. Don’t dwell or fret about what is to come. Stop and appreciate the day that God has given you. Each day of life is a gift and should not be used to constantly ponder and contemplate the future, but rather praise for another day. Give God your all today and trust that He will take care of all that concerns you tomorrow. He is Jehovah-Jireh our provider. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

God Hears & Answers Our Prayers

I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers! Isaiah 65:24 (NLT) God knows what is on our heart and mind. He knows all that we are going through. He understands what we are feeling before we can put it into words. God knows us intimately. He is faithful to respond to our every need. While we are yet speaking, He is already moving on our behalf. Our prayers are an outward expression of an inward decision to trust God. When we seek His face, it is an affirmation that we believe He can and will help us in our time of need. Talk to God, as if you’re confiding in a close friend; because He is a friend that will stick closer than a brother. You don’t have to be eloquent of speech or lengthy. Just seek Him, as your authentic self, with a sincere heart. Then let your faith activate, by truly trusting that He hears you and is answering you according to His sovereign will. Believe in your heart that He hears you and that all things are working together for your good. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Preserved by The Promise

My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. Psalm 119:50 (NIV) If you are experiencing challenging times in your life that seems to be extended beyond what you think you can bear, know that you are not alone. Sometimes it may feel like a season is a lifetime. Hold on and remember a promise is a promise. No matter how long it takes or the road you may have to travel, the promise will not come back void. What has been spoken over your life will surely come to pass. Find comfort in knowing that the obstacles and difficulties you face today does not change or alter what God has spoken over your future. Remain steadfast and don’t be moved. The darkest hour comes before the dawn and your brighter days are straight ahead. Don’t get off course or be distracted by your current situation. God is above all that is happening in your life and with Him you will rise above it as well. With boldness and assurance look doubt in the face and dismiss it from your presence, because if God said yes, it is already done. Let your expectation for what is to come be elevated to the next level and worship Him in advance while you wait. Get in the posture of praise, presume that it’s on the way, because the promise over your life will be fulfilled. May your faith be magnified, and God be glorified. Let’s go and grow together. Meditation Monday

Fill My Heart Lord

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Col 3:15 (NIV) What exactly does it mean to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts? Perhaps it calls for us to push aside our flesh and let the Spirit reign. Unforgiveness, anger, resentment, revenge and all other unfruitful responses cannot occupy the place in our heart that should be filled with agape love. Yes, we are human and may have certain emotional responses that we are not often proud of. However, don’t let these emotions and responses take over to the point where we are no longer able to operate in the love of God. Be very careful what you allow to consume you. Keep peace at the forefront of your heart and mind. Let the love of God flow in you and through you. Let His love be exemplified in you until it brings people together. When the love of God is the driving force in our hearts, peace and unity is nurtured and cultivated. When we operate from a place of gratitude there’s no place for a bitter attitude. When we love with true sincerity, we become bound by all that is good and fruitful rather than torn apart by all that works to oppose positive growth. Reject all that is used as a tool to divide and strive towards all that brings us together. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
