Fresh Wind Wednesday

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings… Psalm 17:6-8 (NIV) It is comforting to know that when we call on God He is faithful to answer. When we reach out to Him, He reaches back to us. When we seek His face, His presence surrounds us. When we welcome Him into every area of our life, He dwells in our midst. His great love is ever-present and His grace continuously flows. God cares more for us than we could ever imagine. His affection towards us expands all borders. It goes beyond the deepest ocean, far beyond the clouds in the sky and expands wider than the universe. Bask in the infinite love of God that penetrates our soul and meets us in every area of need and desire. Rest in the compassionate care of our Savior and receive His protection and provision. He will cover, sustain and defend us.

Prayer: God, we thank you for answering our cries of distress in our darkest hours. We praise you for being the good shepherd that loving guides, directs and protects us. As we hide in the shadow of your wings, we trust that you will deliver us from all that seeks to bring us down or hold us back. We are the apple of your eye and we declare our love for you today. We love you. We adore you. We appreciate you and we surrender all to you. In Jesus mighty name, amen. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Victory In Christ!

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 15:57 (ESV) You are not defeated; you’re walking in victory. Hold your head high and approach life confidently. In Christ, you are covered from all hurt and harm. Have no fear, you’re safe in His loving arms. We are triumphant, because He goes before us and fights every battle that comes our way. He comes to our rescue without delay. Our enemy is already a defeated foe. Live without fear knowing God is with us wherever we go. Whatever is weighing on your heart and mind has no power, because He will defend you. Surrender it all to God and trust that He will bring you through. In Christ we have the victory. He takes care of everything that concerns you and me. Rest now and know that you are in His care. Find peace now, you’re not alone, God is near. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

He who guards his mouth and his tongue guards himself from troubles. Prov. 21:23 (Amp.) Our mouth sets the tone for our interactions with others and the content in our heart is the driving force. It is better to think before we speak, rather than attempt to retract the things said in haste. Pray daily that your words will be sifted through the love of God and make a conscious effort to let what you say be a source of encouragement. Seek to address what rages within that causes you to be reckless with your words. When your words produce light, love and life you will avoid unnecessary strife. Think before you speak, pursue peace and exhibit patience. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
