Monday Meditation

Think about all that you’ve been through in your life and praise God you are still here to tell your story. Most of us can recall the events in our life that were designed to take us out i.e., illness, broken heart, accidents, financial troubles, family conflict, mental and emotional anguish, etc. Whatever God has brought you through, you should show your gratitude by letting your story be a witness of God’s goodness. If you’re currently going through something challenging in your life, declare “I shall not die, but I will live to tell about the goodness of the Lord”. Remain anchored in the Lord and the storms of life will not drift you away. Believe that God will deliver you with such an assurance that you already declare you will have a testimony to share. Proclaim it and claim it. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. Jer. 29:7 (NRSV) Have you ever been sent to a place where you did not want to go? Have you found yourself in an unpleasant environment or situation? Even in these moments and places God calls us to pray. Our prayers should go beyond our desire to change our situation, but should include the welfare and improvement of where we are right now. Pray fervently for the location and the individuals that dwell within it. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember wherever you find yourself, seek peace and goodness for you and all those around you. Trust God to deliver you in His timing. In the meantime, pray where you’re planted and watch God move. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. Rom. 12:12 (NLT) We can find joy in knowing that no matter what we go through God is faithful. Our confidence is sustained by our trust in Him. When we wholeheartedly depend on God, we can wait patiently in difficult times with an assurance that He will deliver us. It’s not always easy, but it’s possible. Before you allow yourself to become consumed by the tactics of your adversaries or your circumstances, take refuge in God. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember to submit all your concerns to God in prayer. Most importantly, believe that there is help, hope and healing in store for you. Stay encouraged and don’t give up! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. Jer. 31:3 (NIV) Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Eph. 4:2 (NIV) When we fully embrace Agape-the Love of God, we become vessels for Him to love others through us. God is the most authentic example of true love. His love is faithful, unfailing, and unwavering. It encompasses and sustains us. As we meditate on the verses of the week, let us remember to love others as God loves us. Be humble in our approach with others, not arrogant. Don’t look down on others, but rather reach out to lend a helping hand. Practice kindness and avoid being harsh with our words or actions. Show compassion and understanding daily. Be willing to work through differences and difficult times with others. Implement forgiveness in your life and in your heart. Truly let go of offenses and pursue peace. We should forgive as God has forgiven us. Marinate in God’s unconditional love. Bask in His love and be empowered to be a living, moving embodiment of His love. It was His love that wooed us into a relationship with Him, now let His love flow through us to draw others unto Him. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 (NRSV) We will have ups and downs in life, but through it all God goes before us, stands beside us and catches us when we fall. There is hope for us when we are experiencing grief, loss, extreme disappointment or difficulties that weigh heavy on our heart. God’s word promises us that in our darkest times He is ever-present. When we are at our lowest points, He uplifts us. His love surrounds us and His mercy comforts us. God’s presence is a shield that encompasses us. If you feel alone today and think no-one understands what you are going through, find comfort in knowing you are not forsaken. He will provide you with the love and care that you need. He will save you from the pit of despair and give you the strength to keep moving forward. Don’t give up and don’t throw in the towel. You are not forgotten; the Lord is near. He is faithful to deliver you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lam: 3:25-26 (NIV) Pursue God with all your heart. Lay your concerns before Him and wait with expectation that God will deliver. You can rely on God for everything that you need. Trust and believe that God will take care of you. As we meditate on the verse of the week, ask yourself are you placing ALL your hope in God? Whatever you are going through, God is more than able to help you. There may be times that things may seem too much to bear. God hears your prayers and He knows the desires of your heart. Find strength in staying connected to your power source. Be still, stay calm and rest in the peace of God. Stay encouraged! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Phil 4:19-20 (NIV) In this text Paul expresses his gratitude for the gifts he received from the church in Philippi. The Philippian church was often used as a model for other churches. In this passage they again set an example of giving to the work of the ministry of Paul in greater numbers than other churches. It was Paul’s prayer that God bless them for supporting him. This week challenge yourself to give to your local ministry or organizations that are serving the community. Consider donating to a food bank, shelter or local church. Seek opportunities to be a blessing to someone else. Maybe there is a family member or friend who needs your assistance. There are many ways to give, just give with a sincere heart. Do it all for the glory of God. As you sacrificially give to the needs of others, God is faithful to meet your needs in abundance. May your cup run over as you pour into the life of others. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God; have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long. Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you. Psalm 86:2-4 (NIV) In this passage David cries out to God to hear his petitions and prayers. He sought God for protection, deliverance from his enemies and inner comfort. He desired God’s mercy. Mercy means to show kindness or concern for one during their time of need. It is an act of divine favor and compassion. Take comfort in knowing His loving-kindness never fails. His tender and benevolent affection is ever-present in our life. Wherever you are today, place your trust in Him with all your heart and soul. He will give you joy for your sadness, strength for your weakness, peace for your unrest, clarity for your confusion, and victory instead of defeat. He will keep you in the midst of the stormy seas of your life, as He lovingly guides you safely to shore. God is with you and He hears your prayers. As you meditate on the devotion for the week, give God all your concerns and receive His peace and comfort that soothes the inner being of your soul. I encourage you to lay down your burdens before God, and receive rest and peace. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
