About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

Monday Meditation

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6 (NIV) There are so many things in the world that try to occupy our mind. When the wrong things rule your thoughts your actions eventually follow. Feed your Spirit and starve your flesh. Don’t be so easily led astray by the snares of the enemy that tries to entice you and lure you away. As we meditate on the verse of the week, ask God to examine your heart and mind and bring everything back into His divine alignment. Ask Him to give you strength to withstand temptation and the power to let go of everything and everyone that is working in direct opposition of your spiritual growth. Pursue peace by walking in the Spirit. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Who then will condemn us? No one-for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Rom. 8:34 (NLT) Christ sacrificed His life and rose again just for us, but it didn’t end there. He now sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. When others pass judgement on you, He extends grace and mercy towards you. When you are downcast and overlooked, His compassion flows towards you like a river. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember the sacrifice that was made for you. Know that you are loved with an everlasting love. There is nothing that can separate you from His love. The cost was too great and the plan of salvation was strategically planned to redeem us all. Praise Him for the price He paid. As we look back and remember what was done for us, look forward with appreciation and gratitude. Rejoice, for Christ continues to move on our behalf. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. 1 Tim. 1:15 (NLT) There is hope for all of us and no one should be left behind, especially by those who believe in Christ. If we truly live what we profess you know that we are all sinners saved by grace. If He is able to transform our life, He is more than able to change the lives of others. As He continues to cleanse and forgive you, He can certainly do it for others. The Lord still pursues even those you may think are irredeemable. In this text, Paul reminds the hearers that Christ came for sinners, then confesses his transformation by His grace. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember what Christ has done and is doing for you and keep the faith that He will do it for others. Be an agent of love and grace. Let’s go and grow together! ADaubon

Monday Meditation

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. Romans 8:37 (NLT) During the course of life we will have ups and downs. In the midst of the vicissitudes of life, God is always around. When you look back remember, He is the reason why you stand. Every time you feel like crumbling, He holds you with His mighty right hand. You have overcome your past and all that you’ve been through. By God’s grace you are still standing, so give Him the praise that is due. As we meditate on the verse of the week, vow to walk in your victory. God is taking you further than you can see. Walk by faith and remember how far you’ve come. Know that His work is not done. Keep pressing forward with your head up high. You will make it, for the Lord is nigh. Let’s go and grow together. I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Rom.15:13 (NLT) God is the source of our hope. All that we need begins with Him. When you feel empty, He will fill you. Wherever there is lack in your life, He will provide. As we meditate on the verse of the week, think about all that you need, trust God and believe that He will answer your prayers. Walk in the power and confidence in knowing God is right by your side. Monday Meditation

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2 Cor. 4:16 (NIV) In our most difficult times, we are growing beyond measure. In the challenging moments of life, we learn to withstand in any type of weather. When everything around you seems to be falling apart, God encourages your heart. You are growing as you go through. Know that God is pouring into you. As we meditate on the verse of the week, trust God to get the glory in your life no matter what you are facing. In the moments where you feel the weakest, God is building your stamina. In your pain you learn God is a healer. When in need you learn God is a provider. When facing sorrow you learn God is a comforter. When in despair you learn how much God cares for you. When you feel depleted you learn that God restores you. Keep pressing forward and be renewed. Monday Meditation

“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” John 13:34-35 (MSG) Authentic and true love will reflect the love of God. His love is unconditional, forgiving and everlasting, Christ-like love mends relationships and restores broken hearts. Let God’s love dwell so deeply in you until it penetrates your soul. As we meditate on the verse of the week, embrace God’s love until it seeps through you, overflows from you and touches everyone who comes into contact with you. Love others the way God loves you. When you are scared to love, find the courage to love. When fear makes you want to keep your love to yourself, find the faith to give it to others. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me? Jer. 32:27 (NLT) There will be times in life when we face challenges. It could be health, financial, relationships or anything that seems difficult to manage or overcome. Find comfort in knowing, what seems hard to you is not hard for God. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember your greatest challenges can become your greatest testimony of God’s victorious power in your life. Miracles do happen. God can turn your situation around. Think of everything you are going through right now, then ask yourself, is this too hard for God? God is the same today as He was yesterday. If He has done it before, He can and will do it again. Believe in the impossible and receive the miraculous. Most importantly, don’t ever give up hope. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
