About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

Monday Meditation

I lift up my eyes to the hills, from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3 (NRSV) We can rest because God is always alert and watching over us. We don’t need to be overwhelmed by the cares of the world or even the circumstances of our life, because He will not leave us helpless. As we meditate on the scripture of the week, know that whatever you are in need of God can supply. Look to Him, cry out to the Lord and trust Him to save and deliver you from every situation. Your help will come from the Lord. Expect it and receive it. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deut. 31:6 (NLT) When fear attempts to take up residence in your heart and mind, do not let it become a squatter. When we maintain our faith, there is no place for fear to reside. So starve your fears and feed your faith. Do not fret and do not shrink back. God will go before you and He surrounds you. God sees all that you are going through and He has not abandoned you. As we meditate on the scripture for the week, be reminded to rely on the strength of God and continue to press forward with the belief that God will take care of everything that concerns you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecc. 3:1 (NLT) In life we will go through different seasons. We will have ups and downs. We will have some setbacks and triumphs. We experience times of sorrow and days of great joy. As we welcome the new season of fall this week, let it serve as a reminder that God is still God throughout every season of our life. The seasons may change, but God remains the same. He is ever-present, committed and faithful to us. No matter what you are going through in the current season of your life, remember you can make it with God on your side. Hang in there and don’t be dismayed by the winds that blow, nor the seasons that come and go. God is with you yesterday, today and forevermore. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.” Psalm 9:10 (NLT) This verse reminds us that being in relationship with God should give us some reassurance in Him. We come to know Him more through our fellowship with Him. As we go through life and witness firsthand His goodness, mercy, favor and faithfulness, our relationship with Him grows stronger. The more you embrace His love, the more you walk in the knowledge of your security in Him. As we meditate on the scripture for the week, let us never forget, God is with us. In Him we can depend and trust. If you feel defeated or alone today, call on God. In Him you will receive comfort, peace and rest. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23 (NLT) We can take comfort in knowing that God is concerned about every detail of our life. When you don’t know which direction to go, seek Him for guidance. There will be many people vying to lead you in one direction or another. However, we must stay in tune to the voice of God, in order to hear clearly. As we meditate on the verse of the week, seek God’s face, regarding everything that lays heavy on your heart. Wait for His directions, then follow accordingly. Don’t move in haste, or you may miss a step. Let Him lead, and follow with assurance that He knows what is best for you. Let’s go and grow together. Monday Meditation

“May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” Numbers 6:26 (NLT) It is possible to experience the peace of God, every day of your life. In fact His peace is readily available to us. Let us take our eyes off the cares of the world and direct our attention to the Lord, understanding that He will take care of us. He can reach the most vulnerable places of your soul, and remove all that hinders you from experiencing His perfect peace. This week as you meditate on this scripture, seek God’s face to reveal all that seeks to weigh you down and keep you from embracing His rest. Surrender it all to Him, then let Him fill you with His peace, until it overflows. It is possible, just press in and get it. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“God makes his people strong. God gives his people peace.” Psalm 29:11 (MSG) Today, we are faced with so many uncertainties. There is disease in the land, economic disparities, prevalent racial tension and unknown and known enemies that seek to threaten our way of life and peace of mind. But in the midst of everything that seeks to strip you of your strength and rob you of your joy, don’t give up. Don’t let your emotions and sense of security be reliant upon anything other than God. Keep your hope in Him. He is the source of all your resources and He is concerned about everything that concerns you. He desires that you experience true peace in your life. This week as we reflect on this verse, remember when you feel weak, He will give you the power to persevere. When our emotions are under attack, He gives you peace beyond comprehension. With God, peace and power is available to you now. Give Him all that is weighing you down and watch Him move on your behalf. You’ve come too far, to give up now. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.” Psalm 28:7 (NLT ) Have you ever noticed that when we go through situations in life, our joy is under attack. Our text today reminds us that when we are weak, God will give us strength. When we are being persecuted, He will protect us. When we put all our trust in Him, He will help us and fill us with joy. God is our defender and protector. As we meditated on the scripture for the week, be encouraged and know that you are not in this alone. Your heavenly Father watches over you. He sees every circumstance that you are going through and is more than able to relieve and restore you. With Him you can continue to press on. Worship Him, there is power in your praise. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
