Monday Meditation

My Strength

The Lord is good, A strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him. Nahum 1:7 (Amp.) God thank you for your protection. I praise you for divine direction. You keep me in every way. Your unfailing love surrounds me each day. When trouble comes you are my hiding place. When storms arise and the winds blow you keep me safe. The best place to be is in your arms. You’re my strong tower who brings all my storms to a calm. You go before me far beyond what I can see. So, I’ll trust that you are covering me. I’m safe in your hands. Nothing can alter your plans. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

He who guards his mouth and his tongue guards himself from troubles. Prov. 21:23 (Amp.) Our mouth sets the tone for our interactions with others and the content in our heart is the driving force. It is better to think before we speak, rather than attempt to retract the things said in haste. Pray daily that your words will be sifted through the love of God and make a conscious effort to let what you say be a source of encouragement. Seek to address what rages within that causes you to be reckless with your words. When your words produce light, love and life you will avoid unnecessary strife. Think before you speak, pursue peace and exhibit patience. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Cure for the Conflict

Those conflicts and disputes among you, where do they come from? Do they not come from your cravings that are at war within you? James 4:1 (NRSV) When you are not at peace within it directly impacts your ability to have peace with others. If you find yourself in constant conflict in different spaces and places, it might be time to look inward for a resolution. It takes courage to be self-aware and even greater bravery to take corrective action. Take the deep dive inside and choose peace within and without. Pursue joy and take the necessary steps to obtain it. Don’t live in the tornadoes of unhealthy emotions or the storms of unaddressed inner pains and disappointments. If you truly desire a change turn to God, surrender it all to Him, and seek professional help, like a counselor or therapist, if needed. Examine the condition of your heart and allow God to heal you by any means necessary. God heals in many ways. Be open to the process, so you can live in peace. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon.

Pray In His Will & Be Still

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6 (NIV) We can all admit that there are times in life when we need our faith to be increased. It is in those moments that we must command doubt to decrease. For with God all things are possible if we only believe. Place your trust in the Lord and position yourself to receive. Don’t let fear of the unknown eat away at your confidence. When you don’t understand the way ahead rely on God who is omniscient. Walk by faith and let the Lord be your guide. There is nothing you can’t accomplish with God on your side. Whatever you have asked God for, pray that it is according to His will. Then wait on the Lord and be still. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Peace In His Arms

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 (NIV) During this time of the year many may be brokenhearted, because they miss their loved ones that have passed. Know that God is with you, and you are not alone, nor forgotten. God will fill every void and uplift you in those places where you feel low. You can trust Him with your heart and your emotions. He will give you the comfort you need today and all the days of your life. He is faithful to heal you everywhere you hurt. Be encouraged and know that God is carrying you through this season and He will not let you go. Rest in His arms and receive His peace that surpasses understanding. Let’s go and grow together. Thankful

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34 (NLT) Give thanks to our God for all the great things He has done. For all the battles He’s fought on our behalf and all the victories we’ve won. For His never-ending love and mercies that continuously flow in so many ways. For this and more He is worthy of all our praise. Nothing and no-one can compare to His goodness. Give Him the fruit of your lips, because of HIs faithfulness. Take a moment and just reflect on all that He’s done for you. Then give Him the gratitude that is due. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Col. 2:6-7 (NIV) We are living in a day and time where there are so many philosophies and practices that will try to lure you away from your faith. We must not be led astray. In your search for peace don’t leave Christ out of what you find. In your quest for more knowledge make sure it is sound and in alignment with the word of God. Don’t be tossed to and fro by anything that is in direct opposition of your faith. Everything that you will ever need is in God and His heavenly principles. Remain rooted in Christ-don’t, bend or break. Don’t waiver and don’t vacillate. Be stable, immovable, and firmly rooted. When your roots run deep you will not be easily swayed or led astray. Grow in your knowledge and relationship with God. Fall in love with the One who loves you the most. At all cost hold onto your faith and never let go. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Fresh Wind Wednesday

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2 (NLT) There is peace in knowing that God will bring us through all that we go through. There is absolutely nothing that He cannot do. When it feels like we’re drowning, He safely brings us back to shore. Everything we thought we lost He faithfully restores. When it gets too hot to handle, He surrounds us with His protection. Praise God for the insulation of His love and affection. Hard times won’t overtake us, because in Him we overcome them all. While trials and circumstances try to beat us down, He will help us to stand tall. When difficult times arise have faith that He will not let us sink into despair. With confidence we can navigate the vicissitudes of life knowing that we are in His loving care. He will not allow us to be overtaken or drown into the depths of weariness. We will survive to tell the testimony of His goodness. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Col 2-6-7 (NRSVU) As believers we are called to walk the walk, not just talk the talk. Be anchored in God and don’t entertain anything that lures you away from your faith. Stand on solid ground and do not be moved from that which you have been taught, no matter how enticing it may be. Remember the sound doctrine that led you to the one and only true and living God and continue to grow in the knowledge of Him. Seek Him for wisdom, discernment and understanding, then be a light in the world. Let your roots be deeply and securely planted in God. Allow Him to build you up as He matures and develops you to go forth and live the life that He has designed and created for you. A life full of power, provision and potential. Walk the walk and be a witness of His grace. With gratitude and thanksgiving live out your faith on purpose. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
