 For the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants. Psalm 135:14 (NRSV) During challenging seasons remember God will sustain you. When you are in a battle or under attack He will protect you. The Lord goes before you, He will always defend you. No matter what you are facing you can trust God; for He is faithful. If you are feeling persecuted today proclaim that God is your defender. Say it and believe it in your heart. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

No good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; for each tree is known by its own fruit. Luke 6:43-44 (NRSV) In striving to be the best version of yourself, it will require that you do a humble self-examination. Ask God to search your heart. Honestly look at your life and ask Him to reveal every character trait that does not line up with His desire for your life. No one is perfect, so learn to forgive yourself as you seek forgiveness from God and others. Ask God to remove every character flaw from the root. Then open yourself up to receive the right seeds to grow a fruitful harvest that pleases God and fosters positive relationships with others. Remain rooted in Him and let the fruit of His love flourish in you and through you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee. James 4:7 (NIV) When you turn towards God, you turn your back on Satan. When you humble yourself before the Lord, you denounce the power of the enemy. When you press towards the cross, you pull away from the snares of the one who seeks to trap you. When you surrender your all to Him, even your trials and temptations, He is faithful to sustain you. In order to walk triumphantly you must submit to God. If you want to see the enemy flee, declare that God has the victory. Then walk in it! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you. Eph. 4:31-32 (NRSV) There is healing in forgiveness. Ask God for forgiveness, seek forgiveness from others, forgive yourself and forgive others for every offense against you. All these aspects of forgiveness are important to truly walk in peace with others and finding peace within yourself. It is time to let go of every negative weight that holds you down. Forgiveness is often a very difficult choice, but one that sets you free. Remember God has made it possible for all of us to live in the overflow of forgiveness, now let it flow through you towards others. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

He prayed, “O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion. 2 Chron. 6:14 (NLT) It is comforting to know that God keeps His promises. Yes, He is committed to doing just what He said he would do in your life. Keep trusting God and loving Him with all your heart. Continue to devote your thoughts, time, energy and talents to Him. Don’t worry about the naysayers, obstacles or difficulties that come. What God has for you, is for you. No one can take it and no one can stop it. God’s has unwavering love for you and He has a plan for your life. Keep pressing forward. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6 (NIV) There are so many things in the world that try to occupy our mind. When the wrong things rule your thoughts your actions eventually follow. Feed your Spirit and starve your flesh. Don’t be so easily led astray by the snares of the enemy that tries to entice you and lure you away. As we meditate on the verse of the week, ask God to examine your heart and mind and bring everything back into His divine alignment. Ask Him to give you strength to withstand temptation and the power to let go of everything and everyone that is working in direct opposition of your spiritual growth. Pursue peace by walking in the Spirit. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Who then will condemn us? No one-for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Rom. 8:34 (NLT) Christ sacrificed His life and rose again just for us, but it didn’t end there. He now sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. When others pass judgement on you, He extends grace and mercy towards you. When you are downcast and overlooked, His compassion flows towards you like a river. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember the sacrifice that was made for you. Know that you are loved with an everlasting love. There is nothing that can separate you from His love. The cost was too great and the plan of salvation was strategically planned to redeem us all. Praise Him for the price He paid. As we look back and remember what was done for us, look forward with appreciation and gratitude. Rejoice, for Christ continues to move on our behalf. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. 1 Tim. 1:15 (NLT) There is hope for all of us and no one should be left behind, especially by those who believe in Christ. If we truly live what we profess you know that we are all sinners saved by grace. If He is able to transform our life, He is more than able to change the lives of others. As He continues to cleanse and forgive you, He can certainly do it for others. The Lord still pursues even those you may think are irredeemable. In this text, Paul reminds the hearers that Christ came for sinners, then confesses his transformation by His grace. As we meditate on the verse of the week, remember what Christ has done and is doing for you and keep the faith that He will do it for others. Be an agent of love and grace.
