The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:9-10 (NLT) Have you ever experienced overwhelming excessive burdens in your life? Do you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders? Have you ever dealt with afflictions and distress that seemed too much to bear? Today, God reminds us that He is our present help in the times of trouble. Before you give up, try trusting God. When you are at your lowest know that God can meet you right where you are and lift you up to a higher ground. People may abandon you and others may disappoint you, but God will never forsake you. As we meditate on the verse of the week, seek God’s face for every concern in your life. Lay it all before Him and receive strength, rest and peace from on high. God remembers you and He sees all that you are going through. You are not alone and with Him you can make it through anything and everything that comes your way. Hold on, hang in there and don’t give up. God’s got you! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
