Monday Meditation

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan. Prov. 29:2 (NRSV) As we meditate on the verse of the week, let us remember that those in authority should be fair, upright and noble, void of evil and not offensive. Love breeds love and hate breeds hate. Put your faith in motion and let your voice be heard. Do your part and be counted. Let the Lord lead you as you cast your vote. Once you have done your part, find peace in the outcome. Live in peace with one another. Trust God to move on behalf of us all, one nation under God. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

I lift up my eyes to the hills, from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3 (NRSV) We can rest because God is always alert and watching over us. We don’t need to be overwhelmed by the cares of the world or even the circumstances of our life, because He will not leave us helpless. As we meditate on the scripture of the week, know that whatever you are in need of God can supply. Look to Him, cry out to the Lord and trust Him to save and deliver you from every situation. Your help will come from the Lord. Expect it and receive it. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
