Monday Meditation

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan. Prov. 29:2 (NRSV) As we meditate on the verse of the week, let us remember that those in authority should be fair, upright and noble, void of evil and not offensive. Love breeds love and hate breeds hate. Put your faith in motion and let your voice be heard. Do your part and be counted. Let the Lord lead you as you cast your vote. Once you have done your part, find peace in the outcome. Live in peace with one another. Trust God to move on behalf of us all, one nation under God. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty,  yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. (Hab. 3:17-19) As we meditate on the scriptures for the week, let it resonate in your spirit that no matter what you are facing you can rejoice in the Lord. Remember, even though you may be going through a difficult season, God is in control and He will lead you to walk in victory. Have an even though praise in your heart. Find your strength and comfort in knowing the God you serve loves you and will not let you fall. Keep pushing forward. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

But I trust in you, LORD; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love. Psalm 31:14-16 (NIV) God’s unfailing love protects us from the snares of the enemy. The attacks will come, but you will not be defeated or destroyed. Some friends and family members may be inconsistent with their love and support for you, but God’s love never ever fails. As we meditate on the verse of the week, trust God to take care of you and everything that concerns you and your family. Whatever you are going through in this season of your life, God is more than able to deliver you. Don’t fret because of the plans of the enemy, God’s plans are greater for you. You are a recipient of unfailing love from a God who never fails. Bask in His love and find your freedom from the cares of the world. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

You who love the Lord, hate evil. He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked. Psalm 97:10 (NLT) Those who love God must have such a dislike for evil that you don’t indulge in any of it’s tactics. Have such a distaste for evil that you avoid participation in its deeds at all cost. And when the attacks of the enemy come your way, remember we serve a mighty God. There is nothing He cannot do. As we meditate on the verse of the week, rest in the assurance of God’s protection. There is nothing that will come your way that you cannot overcome with God by your side, absolutely NOTHING! Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

I lift up my eyes to the hills, from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3 (NRSV) We can rest because God is always alert and watching over us. We don’t need to be overwhelmed by the cares of the world or even the circumstances of our life, because He will not leave us helpless. As we meditate on the scripture of the week, know that whatever you are in need of God can supply. Look to Him, cry out to the Lord and trust Him to save and deliver you from every situation. Your help will come from the Lord. Expect it and receive it. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deut. 31:6 (NLT) When fear attempts to take up residence in your heart and mind, do not let it become a squatter. When we maintain our faith, there is no place for fear to reside. So starve your fears and feed your faith. Do not fret and do not shrink back. God will go before you and He surrounds you. God sees all that you are going through and He has not abandoned you. As we meditate on the scripture for the week, be reminded to rely on the strength of God and continue to press forward with the belief that God will take care of everything that concerns you. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecc. 3:1 (NLT) In life we will go through different seasons. We will have ups and downs. We will have some setbacks and triumphs. We experience times of sorrow and days of great joy. As we welcome the new season of fall this week, let it serve as a reminder that God is still God throughout every season of our life. The seasons may change, but God remains the same. He is ever-present, committed and faithful to us. No matter what you are going through in the current season of your life, remember you can make it with God on your side. Hang in there and don’t be dismayed by the winds that blow, nor the seasons that come and go. God is with you yesterday, today and forevermore. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon

Monday Meditation

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.” Psalm 9:10 (NLT) This verse reminds us that being in relationship with God should give us some reassurance in Him. We come to know Him more through our fellowship with Him. As we go through life and witness firsthand His goodness, mercy, favor and faithfulness, our relationship with Him grows stronger. The more you embrace His love, the more you walk in the knowledge of your security in Him. As we meditate on the scripture for the week, let us never forget, God is with us. In Him we can depend and trust. If you feel defeated or alone today, call on God. In Him you will receive comfort, peace and rest. Let’s go and grow together. ADaubon
