About Agape Inspirations

"But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (NRSV)

You Are Covered

Know that God is keeping you in every season you go through. It doesn’t matter the conditions we encounter, God remains the same. Though the storms may rage and the fires come, His faithfulness is constant and steady. Do not worry, you will come out of this unscathed. The damage that was intended to harm you will never come to pass. His protection cannot be penetrated, and the plans of the evildoers won’t last. His provision will not be intercepted and His power no one can match. Even when you think you are overwhelmed, you will not be defeated. When you feel like you are drowning, He continues to breathe life into you. You are still here for a reason and a purpose. Do not faint or grow weary. He has you. You are covered. Stay encouraged.

He Is With You

When your heart is so heavy that it feels broken in two, God is holding you. When inside you are hurting immensely because you are not sure how much more you can take. When you feel like no one can possibly relate. God is your confidant in whom you can most surely depend. Your shattered heart, He is faithful to mend. He will repair every broken place. He is surrounding you, bask in His grace. He will turn your disappointment into the most powerful testimony yet. He has ordained promises for your life that He will never forget. Faithful He is and faithful He will always be. Don’t lose hope because of what you see. Hold on and don’t let go of His hand. When you feel like caving in, it is He who will help you stand. Stay encouraged.

You Are Kept

When we put our trust in the Lord, we avoid the pitfalls of being devastated by the decisions of man. Don’t worry about what the naysayers are doing or even those who actively come against you. Don’t be baited by the traps to make you worry and tremble. Place all your hope in your heavenly Father. He will surround you and keep you safe. He is your shelter and covering. He loves you and is faithful to keep His promises towards you. No matter what you are facing, do not fear. You serve a mighty God and there is no need to cower. Find safety in Him and be confident that you will not be defeated.

Persevere

Joy and trials seems like an oxymoron and a direct contradiction. You may be asking what on earth is joyful about hardship, difficult times and challenging circumstances. We can be encouraged in times of tribulation because God’s strength is giving us the power to continue on. As our faith is tested and we rely upon Him we will persevere. God is still moving even in the moments when you have the smallest amount of faith. He will give us the stamina to keep pressing and not give up. Though you may become weary at times find delight in knowing He will be your strength as you go through and bring you out more resilient.

Stronger

It may not feel like it now, but in spite of all that you are going through in your life God has not forgotten you. Try to keep the faith. Yes, we are human and will certainly have our share of hurt, pain and diffiult times, but in these moments God will rise up within us, gird us for battle and lead us to total victory. He will provide unexplainable peace and fortify us. He will give you supernatural power and strength while you are in the midst of your situation. Have confidence that in the end you come out stronger. Don’t give up now.

Hold Your Peace

In life you have to work diligently at maintaining your peace. One way to accomplish this is by not allowing yourself to get caught up in a war of words with others. Be willing to opt out of minor disputes and arguments over differences of opinions. Don’t allow your conversations to escalate into heated arguments. In reality no one can clearly hear one another when each person’s emotions have overtaken the interaction. When you see your peace being disturbed when speaking with someone, take a moment and revisit it when both or all parties are willing to truly understand one another and respond in a constructive manner. Be the bigger person no matter how tempting it may be to state your claim. If someone is not ready to receive it, it won’t matter anyway. Choose your battles wisely. Walk in peace.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. lived and died to bring about change. He fought for justice and equality. His sacrifice made an enormous impact on the world at large. We can honor his life and legacy by making a conscious effort to be the change we are looking for in the world. Don’t complain about it, make your contribution to bettering the situation. Dr. King walked in his calling, now go forward and walk in yours. Make a difference that will shake up systems, alter outcomes and transform our society. Let your story make a mark in history. Dr. King paved the way to give us the opportunity to pick up the torch and take it to another level. Show your gratitude by forging forward in peace and love.

Truly Believe

Trust that God will not waiver on what He has ordained and predestined for you. Believe it beyond a shadow of a doubt, no matter what you’ve been told or what you see. Your circumstance does not change what God can and will do. He can turn your situation around. In the most challenging situations that appear to be impossible, He can do the miraculous. Remember God has the final say, in spite of all the odds. Keep the faith and receive your blessings.

Take the high road.

Rise above those who do evil by not allowing them to make you compromise your character or integrity. Display the fruit of the Spirit at all times. When individuals’ intentions are ill willed, let your actions remain rooted in alignment with God’s will and standard of living. When you are tested by others’, don’t let them alter your conduct. When provoked, maintain your composure. Don’t entertain thoughts of retaliation. At the end of the day let your motivations remain in line with what is best and what you profess. Remain the light, even in the face of darkness. Let your goodness conquer all wicked deeds. If you have to invest your energy, let it be towards what is positive and beneficial to kingdom building. Remember you have been called to pursue peace, rather than entertain strife. Take the high road.
